Super nice people. It is clean and not to noise. The construction workers were just working from 2 pm to 5pm. So everyone were able to sleep or to prepare there dinner. I had a great time with my friends here.

Ok, first let's get this straight: this is a no frills place. Nothing too fancy, but you have enough to crash for the night and being comfortable. They have their full kitchen if you need to cook (and purified water, which is important in Mexico). Rooms have A/C (but only on the night; though if you feel the need to... More

Clean, affordable, feels safe and is a not too lang walk from all the hustle and party in 5th ave. The owner and staff are really helpful, polite and easy to talk to. Its a quiet neighborhood and the house feels homey with cooking-opportunities.

Really nice place with a relaxed vibe. Only a few blocks from the beach and tourist centre but far enough away that you can relax. Staff are always walking around with a smile and Jose the owner is always willing to do what ever he can to make your stay more enjoyable. Only negative would be low pressure In the... More

I stayed in the hostel for 2 weeks and was very pleased with the relaxing environment. The staff were great, willing to help with any problems and very knowledgeable. The wifi was fast with a solid connection and I used Skype on numerous occasions without a problem. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with individual lockers. The kitchen is clean... More

The staff is very nice and welcoming. The dorms and kitchen are clean, and the bathrooms need to be cleaner. It is a short walk from the touristy part of town. The wifi is strong and there are lockers in the room. The main strip is on 5th and the hostel is between 35 and 40. (they are counted in... More

I was looking for a clean place with comfortable beds and fast internet. I found it here at Jose's Hostel. The staff are very friendly and willing to help with anything. They even loaned me a towel. It's not the furthest hostel from the beach but it is a good 10 minute walk. Another reason I stayed here was because... More

I stayed at the hostel for several nights mainly because it was so cheap and the atmosphere was really good (nice people around, cozy frontyard) and the location is not too bad (not noisy, 5-10 min. to the beach&ferry to Cozumel) However, for this price you get also the following: - only 2 bathrooms for around 16-18 ppl - doors... About 6 blocks back from the Main Street. There were loads of Mosquitos (we woke up with loads of bites!) and the air conditioning didn't work in our room / the fan was really loud. The shared bathroom was absolutely disgusting. We booked for a number of nights but left after one.
