I am horrible, I meant to write this almost 2 years ago, but I have never got around to it. It's been on my mind and based on the amazing service and help that we received by the staff at the Mandarin Oriental, I can't put this off any longer. So here goes... we planned our wedding at another very... More

My friend and I stayed at the Mandarin Oriental for a week. The hotel staff is friendly and efficient. We were greetediat a beautiful front desk by Fred Boutouba - the Guest Experience and Quaility Manager. The check-in was quickly done and we were greeted with drinks and homemade popcicles. There are golf carts to take you to the rooms,... More

There are so many properties to choose while staying here in the Riviera Maya. This one is great but there are only a few rooms that are Beachfront. So if your going for the Beach? So So The staff is wonderful. It is however a drive into town and you get the stuck in the resort feeling while staying here. More

We stayed at the Riviera Mandarin Oriental for part of our honeymoon in May. The resort was absolutely stunning - out of a luxury hotel magazine!! Checkin we were greeted with a beverage/popsicle and shown our room layout on an ipad which was such an innovative idea. The room was incredible - so unique and modern however still incorporating a... More

We went to have dinner to the Mandarin Oriental Riviera Maya at the beginning of May. Sadly, we weren’t staying there, but we felt the need to right this review bases on the great couple of hours there. The property is beautiful from the entrance door to all the small spots possible. Lobby is good sized as the spaces dedicated... More

We traveled with our daughter and we loved the experience. The staff is very eager to please and did everything possible to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Both Hotel and restaurant/ bar service are outstanding (it may be, however, a little intrusive at times for American standards). On the first day of stay, our daughter got a personalized cookie... I am single female executive who was looking for a stress-free luxury beach holiday that was a direct flight from Washington. The Mandarin Oriental Riviera Maya does not disappoint!!! This is a beautiful luxury resort property that has everything you would expect from the Mandarin Oriental in terms of style and service. Only a 3-hour direct flight from Washington Dulles... More

I feel responsible to share my experience with anyone else who is considering choosing the Mandarin Oriental Riviera Maya as a wedding venue. To be fair, if this review was based on the site visit alone, it would have been great. The ambiance is private and refreshing, incredible food, and friendly service of the staff. Along with Rosewood Mayakoba, it... More

Just wanted to say that we had the most AMAZING trip ever to Mandarin Oriental. The staff are incredible - especially Luis and Collio - my husband said he enjoyed our stay there even more than our honeymoon. We have been lucky enough to stay in a lot of five-star hotels across the world, and we really think this is... More

We just returned from a 4-day trip. The resort exceeded our expectations in almost every way. I will briefly cover 5 areas: 1. Room - we stayed in the least expensive room, and it was absolutely wonderful, with a great bathroom and patio that opened up to a small (and very private) jungle of native fauna and flora. 2. Restaurants... More
