We were scheduled to stay here two nights but could only make it one night. From the beginning, the staff was very understanding with our change in plans. When we arrived, they knew us by name and had our bags in our room in under 5 min. They also upgraded to us to their family suite with a balcony! (Just... More

I stayed here for three nights by myself and I had room 21- it was a king size bed very comfortable with a small bathroom and a small sink and a flatscreen TV. Had to walk up two flights with no elevator but the lovely staff helped me with my bags. It does say it just on top of fifth... More

The location of this quaint boutique and *very Mexican* hotel was fantastic - right on the corner of 5th Avenue on Calle 4th. When we originally booked, we requested king size beds as both myself and my hubby are tall folks. The first room didn't have a safe inside so they moved us. The second room they gave us had... Our one night stay at the Cielo Hotel was a highlight of our 10 day trip. The building is old and charming and the rooms clean and comfortable. It is in a terrific location - walking distance to the bus from the Cancun Airport and the Ferry to Cozumel, the beach, shopping and nightlife! The staff is friendly and helpful,... More

This is our 2nd stay at Hotel Cielo. I love to stay in hotels that reflect the character of the community - why would anyone go to Mexico and stay at a place that resembles a Holiday Inn? Cielo is an architectual gem that is conveniently located 2 blocks from 5th Avenue ADO bus terminal. The staff is awesome, knowledgeable... More

A hidden treasure indeed. At hotel Cielo friendly, attentive staff are on guard ready to meet your needs. The rooms are attractive, giving an eclectic feel of mexican style architure garnished with hand painted tiles. The beds are quite comfortable and my overrall stay couldn't have been better. Definitely a repeat.

We enjoyed our week at Hotel Cielo. The charming Mexican architecture is what first attracted us, for instance, the very pleasant tile floors. The staff was very helpful and very friendly; we felt as though we instantly had good friends here. "Yos" in particular was very helpful and was thoughtful enough to let us practice our weak Spanish in conversing... More

My husband and I stayed here for seven nights in January in room 12, a large king room overlooking the second floor sitting area. The couple who own the hotel are friendly and accommodating.
