Great location, literally 45 seconds walk to the beach. The cabanas are brilliant, I loved them and they had air conditioning which was a bonus. Good food, friendly staff and a nice pool. The hotel is very shaded so you can sit and relax on the hammocks. Its a shame that all of the hotels on the beach are all inclusive... More

We had a great time here. The owners and atmosphere are both great. It felt like family by the time we left. The food is the best we had anywhere during our trip. My wife and I definitely plan to return.

We booked a Cabana from this small hotel for our last 2 days in Mexico, The room was very spacious and had a little fridge and microwave making it convenient to keep food and beverages. There are only about 6 Cabanas (which they call junior suites), so it is very private, the landscaping is done in such a fashion that... More

I stayed at Coco's Cabanas for two nights in April 2015 during my trip in the Yucatan, Tulum, Playa del Carmen, and Cancun. Out of all the hotels I stayed at during my trip, Coco's Cabanas was by far the best hotel room out of the bunch. The reviews have already gone into much detail about this place. It's a... More

My Husband and I were staying at the Platinum Yucatan Princess resort, a 10 minute beach walk from the restaurant and went for lunch twice. My husband and I were in Italy last summer and we agreed that the pizza was just as good at Coco's! Margaritas were fabulous and we also had the fish tacos and tostadas, all amazing.... More

When reading a review, I think it's important to put it into context. As individuals, we have different expectations, experiences that determine what we prefer. First off...we are a middle aged couple who have both traveled all over the world. And, we have been to many parts of Mexico over the past 15 years (Oaxaca, Mexico City, Veracruz, Chiapas etc).... The place was just right for us. We came for a destination wedding at one of the big "all inclusive" resorts down the beach. We were so glad we didn't stay there. Coco's was quiet and the atmosphere was peaceful, unlike the crowded big resorts. The food was fabulous and reasonably priced. We ate a couple times at the big... More
