Thank You Silvia and Helmut for more great dinners!!, We ate at CoCo's twice last week for dinner. We go to the area several times a year and dinners at CoCo's are a top priority. Traveled with 3 other couples and their kids. The two dinners at CoCo's were their favorites as well. As always, Helmut's whole fish was the... More

We just got back from a week at Coco's Cabanas. Some of these negative reviews I think are expecting resort-type accommodations. It's not a resort. It's a small family business with comfortable cabanas (the air conditioning in our and our kids' cabanas worked surprisingly well). I don't understand how anyone could confuse breakfast being included or not - it's set... More

Upon our arrival, they asked for the remaining balance to be paid but it had been paid 4 days prior to arrival; in order to prove it I had to connect to internet and my bank account but their internet do not work(they probably are on the lowest plan and don't run it on a regular basis and every staff... We were greeted by Silvia upon arrival. She asked to see my confirmation and thought the price was for one night. Then she thought it did not include breakfast. I pulled up the emails with the free Wi-Fi and showed her the price was for both nights and breakfast was included. We had arrived early and our room was not... More

We stayed here for 1 night before heading deeper into Playa del Cramen for a vacation. We stayed in the Queen Cabana, which I believe is less updated than most of the other huts. The location is right by the Grand Sunset Princess, and just off the beach. It is a bit of a walk from the main highway, so... More

I stayed at Coco's during a recent destination wedding trip and fell in love. While most of the other guests stayed at a pricey resort down the beach, we opted for the affordable Coco's and were thrilled with our choice. Sylvia is a treasure and made us feel like we were staying at an intimate B&B. The food is straight-up... More

This is a quiet, little, family - run "resort" set in the midst of all the "big boys." It was hard to find. But so worth it. Helmut and Sylvie own and run the place and are genuine, helpful and friendly. They built it 16 years ago. It has 7 little cabanas that are clean and comfortable. Get the king... More

As always I read the reviews here before booking. Then I saw some negative comments which left me wondering if I'd made the right choice. If you like big, soulless hotel chains, then this isn't for you. If you prefer friendly, authentic & family run then you just might. It's off the beaten track - the taxi driver needed a... More

I really enjoyed my stay at this lovely, quiet little resort. The room was clean and comfortable and had everything I wanted and more. The restaurant is excellent, pizza, fish and desert were great. The included breakfast was only continental but fresh and good. Nice staff and owners and the beach is fantastic.

What a wonderful little spot surrounded by huge all inclusives. Much more our style. The little cabanas are perfect with thatched roofs and so many beautifully designed detais like fountains, gardens and hammocks. We had a nice dinner and highly recommend the shrimp with onions, red bell peppers and a rosemary chili sauce. The wood fired pizza was wonderful too! The... More
