I really like this hotel for the price and if you compare with other hotel with the same range of prices this one is way better , is clean not noisy , well located and the accomodations are nice . I strongly recomend this hotel.

The hotel was nice and clean for the price, it was centric and not too loud even though it was right off 5ta avenida. The WIFI DOES NOT WORK.The suites at the top are equipped with kitchenette, a little fridge, a table for two, AC, fan and a king size bed. Sleeping was good.

We stayed here for one night and found it to be a nice location with basic amenities for the price. Nothing fancy, but for the price of $80usd on a Holiday, it was perfect. We had a room with two double beds, air conditioning, television and wifi.

First, Castillo del mar is on the 5th and the 26th. But to tell you the truth, for the price you pay which is very very cheap, you get a great deal bedroom. It is a very clean hotel with nice rooms... a bit cheezy but great. It is like new and the staff is very nice. You get the... More

on corner of 5th Ave. & 28th St. $45/night I enjoyed my one night stay at Castillo del Mar during low-season in September 2006. I didn't even reserve in advance because there are so many inn's to choose from. It's better than the all-inclusive in Cancun because everything in Playa del Carmen was within walking distance, including the beach which... More
