If you are looking for a gorgeous hotel, clean as can be, beautiful beach, great pool, and dedicated staff, then this is the place for you. The hotel has an amazing feel to it, almost like an old world charm. Very beautiful architecture and decoration- I've really never seen anything like it. The staff is constantly cleaning, mopping tiles, cleaning... More

My husband and I and our two kids, 14 and 12 spent 10 nights, 7/28 - 8/4/14. It was a beautiful resort with many luxurious amenities. The food was top notch and the drinks (top-shelf). The buffet restaurant was very inviting with so many choices. However, the a la carte restaurants were average at best. For a hotel of this... More

Myself, my sister and mum and dad stayed here from 26th July - 10th August. The front desk staff were friendly & helpful as soon as we arrived and were helpful when we requested to move rooms due to faults in the room. We only experience one bad day with the front desk staff when one was rude and cold... More

This was our first trip to an all-inclusive resort. We really enjoyed it! I had read that you had to make reservations for dinner at 7:30 am, not true reservations were made between 12-3pm & you could make them for at least 2 days ahead. Room was nice, but there was a musty odor to it & things didn't seem... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 7 days. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a welcome drink along with friendly front desk staff. Not only is the front desk staff friendly and helpful but so is the rest of the staff at the resort. That makes your vacation more enjoyable. We enjoyed the breakfast, lunch... More

We stayed at Riu Palace from 24th July to 7th August 2014 Overall we were pleased with our holidays, good flight in the Dreamliner, and fast short transfers to the hotel. The hotel itself is fantastic, a bit dated as people have said, but remains still impressive in its traditional marbled and chandelier aspect. There was a musky mouldy smell... More

Stayed here July 11th to 25th, 2 adults and our 2 teenage boys. We had previously been to the region twice, staying at the Iberostar Lindo and Maya and this was our first stay in a Riu hotel. We travelled with Thomson and I must say the new 787 Dreamliner was excellent, great leg room, comfy seats, good IFE and... More

I’m a huge Trip Advisor fan and read reviews regularly when choosing a resort. My husband, our 19 year old son and I and just completed a 6-night stay at Riu Palace Rivera Maya and thoroughly enjoyed it. This is our first visit to a Riu property, and our sixth time staying at an all-inclusive resort. The ride from the... More
