The Fairmont Mayakoba is one of three resorts in the Mayakoba development with the other two being the Rosewood and Banyan Tree properties. Our family vacationed at the Fairmont Mayakoba during spring break with the dates March 24th thru April 1st, 2012. The resort was not over-crowded during our stay but began nearing its capacity the day of our departure.... More

My wife and I stayed for 4 nights in early May and enjoyed every moment of the resort. The lagoon view room was great, thanks Odracir! All the shuttle drivers were genuinely friendly, which made it great for me as I walk with a cane and did not hesitate to jump on and off all day long. The waiters and... More

Nothing but positives on our four night stay last week. Staff was excellent. Food was top notch at all the restaurants on the property. Also recommend Saffron at The Banyan Tree but make sure to book in advance since they have limited tables. Getting around the resort is no problem with golf carts moving people around efficiently and very courteously.... More

My husband and I spent 5 days, 4 nights at this beautiful resort. The pools and the beach were breathtaking and very clean. The staff was unbelievably courteous and helpful. We never had to wait very long for a ride to the different places on the resort (especially with Humberto and Christopher) and everyone was very professional and warm. They... More

Spent seven nights at the Fairmont Mayakoba. This was the first time we stayed in the Riviera Maya area; we usually go to the Cancun hotel zone. For this trip we are glad we made the decision. This was a completely relaxing vacation. We only left the property once (to shopping and to dinner in Playa del Carmen - about... More

My wife and I stayed here in April for 4 nights and it definitely lived up to expectations. We stayed in a casita near the main pool area which was a perfect location, easily accessible to the main lobby, the pools and not a bad walk to the beach. While the property is very large, we enjoyed walking from place... More

We just got back from this fabulous resort and cannot say enough good things about it. Seriously-- it would take many pages to list everything that was good about it. We would especially like to thank Odracir, the President's Club Manager, who took special care of us when we complained that the spa was closed. 5-star service all the way.... More

We had hoped to stay at the Fairmont Mayakoba for a few days to extend a trip to the Mayan Riviera. As it turned out we decided to go in a different direction but we were still able to visit the property to make a donation to a charity that they are affiliated with. Pack for a Purpose, If you... We just stayed at the resort for a week - we picked a good week (April 22 - 29) as weather was perfect every day and the resort was quiet, not sure we would have had the same experience if the resort was full to capacity - no issues getting a spot on the beach which was really nice. We... More
