Good activities for the kids. Excellent kiddy pool. The water slide is fund for the kids. The kids zone was amazing. On-site baby sitters is great. Kids eat free which is a major plus. The resort is so big and spread out that you have to move around in golf carts! Not a major inconvenience but very different than what... More

This is the kind of resort you dream of and once you get there is all true! Nature is a show and food delicious. Staff is very kind. I want to come back soon! Be aware that there are compulsory fees and taxes to be paid upon Checkin and it is worth every penny.

To start the property is amazing, I can't believe how the management let this property grow old so fast, the pool and beach furniture is in very bad conditions, but the most disappointing thing about this hotel is the food, since the hotel recently added a meals included plan they dropped the quality maintaining the very expensive prices. I feel... More

The Fairmont Myakoba in specific and the Myakoba property in general forces you to re- calibrate what you may think of a vacation flying into Cancun. Although most of the villas are not directly on the ocean we found the seclusion and peacefulness much to our liking. Myakoba is SO NOT the rowdy spring break experience of youth. It is... More

This resort is one of the best we've visited. Location wise, it is a little off the beaten path of Cancun, but if you have a car, it shouldn't be a problem to explore the city and surrounding area. Although it is a beach front resort, their selling point is the Riviera and PGA golf course. Its beach area is... More

My husband and I visited the Fairmont Mayakoba in late April and it was an ideal time to go. The weather was warm but not too hot or humid and the resort was not crowded. Upon arriving at the resort, we were greeted at the hotel entrance with cool, damp face towels and drinks. Check in was quick and easy.... More

I was fortunate enough to stay at this resort when in Riviera Maya for a major conference. I got a room after placing myself on a waiting list since it was initially fully booked. I had one of the suites that overlooks the inland waterway and the golf course. THE GOOD: Simply beautiful grounds - with a lovely combination of... More

We stayed at this hotel as part of my husband's work retreat. It was a fantastic hotel! The rooms are amazing. We had a view of the lagoon from our balcony, and I really enjoyed sitting out and watching the birds and turtles in the lagoon. The only problem was there was a chachalaca bird nearby that made noise all... More

We got to enjoy one night (our last night) at this amazing resort. We were very sad that we had opted not to spend our entire vacation here! If we come back to the area, we will only come back here! The grounds are SO beautiful! I love every thing about the design of the buildings and how the casitas... More
