At a first glance we found this room very clean and the staff was really nice and helpful. The breakfast was very generous, eggs, granola, yoghurt, coffee/tee and so on. The location is very good, in a safe area, walking distance to a beautiful beach and 5th avenue. But after finding bed bugs the last night, HUGE ONES, the whole... More

We were very disappointed with Che B&B. Not good value for money at all. Our first room was tiny, and stank of mold! When we asked to move rooms were were apparently "upgraded". The newer room was nicer and without the smell but certainly not what we expected for how much we had paid. After 3 weeks in Mexico it... More

This review will pretty much be about bed bugs. I have to say that apart from these vile creatures the Che BB is very nice. Staff is friendly and nice. There is a kitchen. Nice rooms. But all of that is wort absolutely nothing when you wake up in the middle of the night by an invasion of bed bugs... More

With so many hotels and hostels to choose from, Che needs to pick it up. First, the positive is that it's very close to a nice beach but....so are a zillion other hotels. Air conditioner leaked and soaked my suitcase and half my clothes. No blanket just a thin sheet (I know it's Mexico but with the AC on, would... More

After checking at Che hostel they sent us to this villa in playacar (a closed villa area right next to the shopping mall. Stayed for a night in the 'special room'. Ask for it too if you are in for an experience (they don't offer it for online booking). This is a great place to come to as a couple... More

We were two young travelers and Che's b&b met our budget restraints quite nicely. We stayed four nights and enjoyed the beautiful Playacar beach which is just down the road as well as many great restaurants. The staff was very helpful and pointed us in the right direction to take cheaper colectivo vans to Tulum and Cancun instead of the... More

excelent little hidden gem in playa, loved it and hope to go back many times! very relaxing and calm, just wha I wanted! great food and shopping nearby and beaches are the best! Recommend it for a lovers get away or fun time with friends, close enough to everything but not in the middle of the noisy area.

If you want to stay in a quiet, safe location; just a short walk from the beach; and don't mind some quirky issues, Che B&B is your place. Unless serving yourself cold cereal and milk or toast with margarine is breakfast in your book (and washing your own dishes too, I wasn't clear) just forget the "breakfast" part and plan... More

First the good - Location: it is very near a nice beach to the south of the ferry pier, this beach doesnt have bars etc but in my opinion is all the better for that. It is in a quiet area (Playancar) with what seemed to be high end holiday homes and so is safe and quiet but at the... More

We were very happy with our stay. The good: Location, huge bed, staff. Florencia was very helpful, a great host. The bad: Bad lighting (light bulbs missing), some bugs in the room (but the hostel is an old house with some kind of "forest" next to it, understandable), some rust in the shower that stained our clothes (very important to...
