Just came back from a week in Playa having stayed at the Illusion Boutique Hotel. All the staff were helpful and friendly. Javier was exceptionally helpful. The rooms were spacious and clean. The pool was a bit small but, hey, with the ocean 1/2 a block away who cares?!?! Would definetly return to this hotel. more

Once again Illusion was great. Large room, clean, friendly caring employees. Good breakfast $5 or continental is free. Short on clothes storage and hard but somehow comfortable matress - but this is the norm for Mexico rooms. Watch your transactions in the handy but slick little store next door.
