We have stayed at Las Golondrinas 3 times but it has been several years since we have been there. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the property has been upgraded. The rooms are brighter and the bathrooms have been remodeled. If you don't mind a 3-4 block walk to the beach, you will find this hotel to be a... More

We stayed 3 nights in Las Golondrinas, after a roundtrip, to relax a bit before our flight to Europe. We enjoyed our stay. Very clean and nice hotel in a good location. We had a big room with 2 double beds, fridge and safe. Cleaning was superb!. There is an elevator. The hotel has a small, but cozy garden and 2... More

Friend and I stayed at this hotel for BPM - very good choice! Close to everywhere we wanted to be, but quiet at night. The elevator was a huge convenience, as most hotels in the area from previous trips don't have one. The housekeeping staff are gems - they realy care about your comfort. Safety was never an issue. I really don't know where to begin. We purchased a vacation package through American Airlines Vacations after doing research both on Trip Advisor and the AA site. While we went into the trip knowing we would not be staying at a five star property we were VERY SURPRISED upon arrival. The reception area had absolutely no sense of arrival -... More

We regret your negative comment that doesn´t reflect the reality of the hotel. For that reason we will answer each mentioned complaint. The hotel staff didn´t refuse to give you a room with a king size bed because the room you reserved was a standard room with two queen size beds. Everything is clearly explained on our website. In Mexico... More

I chose this hotel because it is about 3 blocks from 5th avenue and 6 blocks from the beach. A very easy walk to both. We knew we wouldn't be in the room very much so it was fine for what we needed. Don't expect any frills. It was good for the price, but certainly no luxury hotel. The staff... More

My stay started out fine in room 301. Front desk clerks spoke English very well and since I was alone they said they would tell me the places to go. Room was nice, 2 Queen beds, and I tipped the maids every morning so they made elaborate swans on my bed out of towels like they do on cruise ships.... More

We are sorry about the negative comment you wrote in tripadvisor, however we must remember you threatened to write those kind of comments after we prohibit Carlos to get into your room (as his was part of frontdesk staff) and at any hotel is not allowed for the employee to get into the room and drink alcoholic drinks with guests,... We stayed with our family of 3 for 5 nights in November. My only complaint about the hotel/room was the beds were hard. We had a mini fridge in our room, which worked great. Our AC worked great too. The pool wasn't heated and since we were there in November, it was COLD. The hotel sits a few blocks behind... More

We chose Las Golondrinas knowing it was not on the beach but close to it as well as the downtown shopping and restaurant scene. It is a little oasis when you come in off the street and enter the pool and courtyard area. If street noise bothers you at night this may not be your first choice but the rooms... More

We were looking for a nice quiet hotel which was a bit different from the usual hotels along with a good location. This hotel matched that and lived up to our expectations. The ambience is relaxed and chic. The rooms are of decent size, clean and well appointed with a fridge, free high speed wi-fi and ours had twin double... More
