We stayed here for 4 nights. The service was fantastic with friendly reception staff who are always willing to help. It's in a fantastic location right of 5th avenue where all the restaurants are. Lovely atmosphere created at night with there bar with swing chairs, fairy lights and greenery. 2 of the nights we stayed a acoustic solo artist and... More

We just came back from 4 nights at the Luna Blue. This time we brought our 19 yr old daughter with us and stayed in room 5 on the second floor. Great room. Double bed and Single bed with pull out trundle/ We especially enjoyed sitting on our patio/balcony with the provided chairs and hammock. Nice to light the candle... More

I kind of loved this place. Super easy to find, great location, the staff is ridiculously nice. The bar was also a nice touch. Had a clean bed, hot shower, the beach was in walking distance as were all of the restaurants and main attraction. Highly recommend this hotel.

I had two minor issues with my recent stay at Luna Blue. My room had a less than desirable view from my bedroom window - I would rise each morning, stretch and look out onto the hotel water heater. I didn't request a change because I loved everything else about the room and the location. Also, wi-fi was really spotty... More

Booked over internet with airport transfer from cancun airport. Nice and simple hotel in great location. It's half block from walking street (cafes, bars, and shopping) or 3-1/2 blocks from beach. Good bar and nice cool pool. Had LIVE music one night and it was very good!

Jorge still runs a great bar. Frankie is still the fattest fat cat in Playa. Place is still clean, but a few annoyances crept in. A/c not working. Very noisy pool bar at 10th street corner. Mercifully, it was only a Friday afternoon thing. Still good place but needs attention to details.

What a fantastic unique property. I can't say enough about the service. The rooms are rustic but very cute. The pool is wonderfully refreshing. It's perfectly located close to but not on 5th ave so you can sleep at night. We have a tree top room that is amazing but some advice, if you don't like a challenging stair climb... More

We only stayed two nights, but can see why people stay much longer! The courtyard is quite attractive and enticing. We wanted to get some beach time in, and were able to visit two places which the hotel has an arrangement with (Indigos, great food and comfy lounges, but boats anchored on beach, and Bad Boys, great beach, but food... American owner, Tony, is a cool dude and a friendly host. He knows all the places to recommend and keeps the hotel to modern standards. Bar has swinging seats and the occasional cat living there keeps you feeling comfortable away from home. It is centrally located and within walking distance to everything. Highly recommend Luna Blue.

We were in room with kitchenette and space was very nice. Large fridge, fully stocked china, flatware, and silver to make things easier. Not to mention 5 gal bottle of fresh water available in room, bonus. Staff always accommodating and still cannot beat location. Thanks Tony, Cheri, and of course Jorge and Frankie
