This hotel has the perfect beach front location. Although the beach in this area isn't as nice as some of the beach front property further north, its still beautiful. The hotel needs updates and they had issues with getting us clean towels at first but our room was perfect, quite AC, ocean view and friendly helpful staff. Its not luxury... More

I'm writing this review from the balcony. Plus points are, the balconies, they all have sea views (& views of each other!) and the noise of the waves crashing is lovely. The staff are sweet but last night we couldn't get any glasses for wine we'd brought in, which for $130/night hotel, I don't think is acceptable. The location is... More

Nice place right on the beach! Nothing fancy at all, right up my alley because I didnt go to the room other then to sleep. Room has a balcony that looks out to the ocean. Breakfast was good and the pool was nice if you don't want to deal with beach people or if you have kids. The price was... More

The location was amazing! We were close to everything. It wasn't loud at all in the rooms. We could literally walk out of our room and step onto the beach. The staff, Pedro and Aide were super nice. We wanted to travel the third night of our booking so they rescheduled for us to stay in the hotel for another... More

I booked this hotel as last minute deal for recent trip to Playa del Carmen from Dec 28, 2014 to Jan 4, 2015. Literally, I booked the last available room (as AMOMA.com website was saying) for reasonable price during high season. I did read negative reviews here posted in December after I booked this hotel. However, I turned out to... More

Our room had a broken bathroom window, on the side of a noisy bar. The beds were so hard we had to get air matresses. They would not give us ice. The guests were rude. The place was dirty. After four nights we went to a new upscale hotel. You get what you pay for.

We stayed only 4 nights out of the 2 weeks we booked. We hated the room, #05. it had a broken window in the bathroom. The toilet seat was made from 2 different seats. The noise was incredible. The breakfast was a joke. The bed was like sleeping on a rock. The only saving grace was the maid did a... More

We stayed at this hotel a couple of days, would not recomend this to anyone. Extremly noicy, very poor conditiond, the bed is HORRIBLE and filthy, only a few sunbeds for free where you only get sun a few hours a day, the breakfast made us laugh (from now we are eating bf at subway....), the refridgerator sounds very loud... Just back from another trip to Playa del Carmen. Stayed for the 4th time at this hotel. The location still can't be beat for the money. The hotel wasn't in as good a condition as previous visits. Sink faucet was running, it was evening so we used the shut off valve under the sink. Some mildew stains in shower and... More

You couldn't get a better location. It's about 300 yards north of the main pier and is on the sand. This part of the beach is bigger and has no boats parked out front . . . a major plus. The fancier hotels further north have fishing boats in front, so the guests have to walk a couple of minutes to...
