My husband and I just returned yesterday from here. Visited with another couple. Everything was perfect for us. Rooms were clean every day. Beds were comfortable. Food was good and a good selection every day. Activities scheduled every day. We attended the evening shows. The activity staff was wonderful. Drinks were good and plentiful! The staff at the front door... More

My husband and I stayed here in April 2014. We have always stayed at the larger resorts in Playa del Carmen so this was a lot different then what we were used to. We absolutely loved this place, it was very quaint. The food was delicious at the buffet and at both restaurants. The pool snack bar was also very... More

Wife and I often go to Cancun and have made a habit of trying a different resort when we do go. Been to many of the big ones, figured we'd try a small one. Nothing against it, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Rooms and grounds were clean. Food was good. Drinks also. Not many options to "get away"... More

We were treated to a glass of champagne upon check in. This resort is small but the pool area was fun to hang out by. Our room was clean and we had a straight shot out to the pool thru our sliding glass door. If you are into sitting at the beach be warned that it is a VERY small... More

Dear Julie C, Thank you very much for your nice comment about your vacation in our resort. We appreciate your nice words about our beautiful pool area, our great Mexican Dinner Show and our delicious food. Regarding the Mexican restaurant and the room safe with surcharge, it depends which services you book. The hotel includes 1 a la carte restaurant... More

Ok so now that I have stayed here I know what a motel 6 type all inclusive resort is like. the price was reflective of the fact that it was limited in food choices and limited in English speaking. Ok I know I was in Mexico however..... at least get 1 or 2 that understand English. It took me 3... More

The beach along play a car is fabulous! The water is clear, the skies are blue. We had our traditional few minute rain shower almost every day but that didn't dampen our spirits. Although small, only one free ala carte restaurant, the food was good. The omelet lady cooks eggs to order, Eduardo sautéed my veggie pasta dish, and Cesar... More

This was a great place with great food... Real good food. Bar drinks were not all that so we sticked to beer. Mind us it was a kids vacation and not for us parents ir it would have been a different story on the bar ;). All in all we loved it and we will be back!

We chose the hotel because of its location right on the beach and also its proximity to fifth Ave. We really liked the service and the friendly staff, but we were very disappointed with the food and by the "beach," which wasn't much of a beach at all (the beautiful ocean view was full of fishing boat as that is... My girlfriend and I just returned from a week at The Reef Coco Beach and the stay was ok. Arrival: Upon arriving they told us they did not have a room for us so they told us we'd have to stay in the "presidential" suite for the night and then move into a regular room the next day before noon.... First let me say, our first two stays and this resort were great. Older hotel, typical fare, but great beach... in 2011... NEW ADDITIONS - NEW OWNER - BEACH RUINED - The addition of two piers directly in front of the hotel, eyesore. The pristine crystal water is now a strange milky color, not sure if this is due to...
