Despite quite a big amount of bad reviews, this resort is just great! OK-the rooms are not super fancy, but they are nice, clean and cosy! Houskeepers do extraordinary job (even the towel art), pool was great, drinks were NOT AT ALL watery or not strong enough! All the staff is smiling, dancing and creating a great experience. Food is... More

This is a nice, smaller resort that try's very hard to please their guests. Besides a few little mishaps as a clogged air filter in the air conditioner and forgotten coffee items, it was great. They cleaned our room every day, left pop and water and a bottle of wine to toast our arrival. The la carte restaurants were excellent,... More

We just returned from 10 day stay at Reef Coco Beach and would go back again in a heartbeat. We found the a la carte restaurants excellent and loved the fact we didn't have to make reservations at either one and could go as many times as we liked. Not sure if this was because we went at the end... More

Reading the other reviews, I think a lot has to do with expectations. For the price, we were not expected a luxurious resort. But we were very pleasantly surprised. They great you with champagne, the staff was all fantastic and always very helpful. They ran out of money to exchange several nights so started going elsewhere. The drinks were strong... More

My family went on vacation with our two girls both 18. This hotel states on their website and bookit.com website that it has a disco (night Club) no night club at all on the property. The hotel shows canopy beds. You need to pay to use them. How is that all inclusive? Also you need to pay additional to have... More

Had a wonderful time at the Reef Coco Beach and would definitely return. It's a smaller place then we usually stayed at but we actually like that better. So close to the beach, restaurants, snack shack, entertainment. Could walk to 5th Ave by road or beach to the south. Walk to a beautiful cenote to the north. A shout out... More

This is easily the worst resort we have ever visited. I would love to provide some positive feedback here. Unfortunately, most of my review reveals the truth about this place. The positives are as follows. It's a small resort, so very easy to get around. It is close to town. A very inexpensive cab ride gets you to Playa Del... More

I talked to management and they said for an upgrade fee on my all inclusive they could help me out... More

Let me start by saying we did not chose this venue. The trip was planned by friends. This was the worst place I've ever stayed. From the second we got there.... First we chose to pay to "upgrade" to a premium bracelet to get better liquor and beer. The premium beer, by the way, was miller light cans. The upgrade... More

My boyfriend and I recently returned from 7 days in Mexico at The Reef Coco Beach, and it was a so-so holiday. We had made the trip for my birthday, and arrived late on Saturday night, about 11.15pm. We were checked in, and when we got into our room on the ground floor overlooking the garden, we realised that it... More
