Came here with a group of 3 girlfriends. We read the reviews about the noise. There was noise the first night, but then it wasn't bad. And if you have the door closed, it's not too bad. I had no issues. We loved the room. Was simple, very clean and had the Mexico feel - exactly what we like! Staff... More

The Hotel is beautiful, right on the beach. The best of everything Playa has to offer. Right next to all the restaurants, 10th avenue, bars, shopping and if you want, Lido Bar inside the Hotel with the best drinks, food and staff you could ever imagine. The rooms are very comfortable, they are always clean, and the staff is ready... More

We'd read all the TA reviews, knew it was budget and we'd noted the feedback about noise. We didn't heed the warnings and booked a full week at Colibri. There will never be at next time at Hotel Colibri Beach. The rooms are basic at best. Truly, the hardest most uncomfortable beds we've ever slept in. Combined with the noise... More

Great place to stay if your trip is about getting drunk and the disco. Terrible place if you want to sleep or relax. The discos are right next door and SO loud that your heartbeat will begin to sync with the base and they don't stop the music til 5am. I wish I had booked a room somewhere else. Lido... More

This was a very inexpensive vacation. Booking on Expedia with the flight made the cabana room $67 a night. The beach club offers buckets of iced beer 150 pesos and the U.S. Exchange rate was 14.25 to a dollar in Mexico. Can't beat $10.50 a bucket! The owners are on site too. Not a drop of rain. The hot water... More

This place had an awesome location right on the beach, great service and such lovely people – especially the very friendly and full-of-helpful-advice Alex, who works in the breakfast beach cafe. He gave us a new tourist tip every morning! :-) However, the bed was extremely rickety and uncomfortable (all we had to do was breathe and it wobbled and... More

This is an average hotel, rooms are OK but I would say a bit expensive for what you get. Free wifi is available in tthe room. Staff is kind and friendly. I liked the beach club and the food at Lido bar is fine.

Managers- please give the rooms some color and class. All white no personality. Basic of the basic. Please turn the volume of the desk phone down. We could hear it every time even over the night club music which was very annoying until the wee hours. Disappointed having to pay to use beach chairs. Mattress was more like a hard... More
