OVERVIEW! We spent 6 nights at RDS in April. Check in was a breeze, we only received 1 room key and a key for the safe but this was fine. We planned our flight to arrive in PDC around 3pm, standard check in time. During the week we noticed a few people being led to their rooms way before this... More

We stayed a week with our children aged 6 and 8. The hotel was clean and then staff were all amazing. We would consider staying again if our kids were not with us and it was a short stay. We are all very sound sleepers and did ok but the lounge or club music was definitely in the background every... More

We stayed six nights in March 2015, and loved it. We like boutique hotels (not mega-resorts) so this was up our alley. Know that up front--boutique feel is different than an all-inclusive ginormous-resort. Things to know: You're one block off the touristy shopping avenue. Great access to restaurants, shops, Starbucks (2 blocks), bars, etc. A tiny bit loud until midnight,... More

Pros: Gabriella at the front desk couldn't have been more helpful or friendly. Thank you! Breakfast was good, and the female staff member working most days was very sweet (the male working was never friendly). Room was clean and adequate for our needs with a little mini bar that we could put our own beverages in. Bed was comfy, and... More

If you are in Playa del Carmen, this is a great hotel for relaxing, shopping, beach. Very helpful staff, comfortable room, WIFI, wonderful breakfast included. Very attractive spaces and a charming small pool area. Good services and short walk to the beach, with coupon for beach club chair/umbrella.

We liked simply everything about this hotel. Great location for young people, near wonderful beach and amazing beach club. Very friendly stuff always helpfull and smiling. In the room, good working wifi, air conditioning and a nice balcony view. Hotel was very cozy and we really loved to stay here.

I was so excited to find this gem of a hotel with all the great reviews at a great price... I was in contact with the hotel before arrive for a couple questions I had and also asked if we could have a main floor room near the pool. The person told us that we could and it was secured.... More

First of all, we would like to offer you our sincerest apologies and thank you for your comments, as these help us to grow and improve. During your stay, we had a problem with the swimming pool which caused it to lose water. We did our best to solve this problem as quickly as possible, and we regret that this... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights during BPM Festival last week. We chose the location because of it's extremely close proximity to Mamitas Beach Club and other venues and it was a great price (less than $200 USD per night). I have nothing but positive things to say about this hotel: fantastic breakfast every morn, walking distance... More

We have visited Riviera del Sol twice, the most recent being October 29th to November 5th, 2014. Each time a dozen or so of our friends joined us. It is a beautiful little hotel with nice rooms and a great pool area to spend time with friends. It also has a nice area on the second floor to relax and... More
