Stayed wife my wife in September. It was a lovely little hotel, well positioned as it is at the less intense end of 5th Avenue. The pool area is a real sun trap and is a pleasant place to sweat your tequila out. Our room was always clean and tidy as was the property on the whole. Breakfast is basic... More

This was the first hotel we stayed at in Mexico and I was very impressed, it's a pretty small hotel in a very centrally located part of town with bars and restaurants in touching distance, the beach is only 2 minutes down the hill. Our room was very spacious and very clean, the air conditioning was excellent, the rooms were... More

They say good things come in small packages. Riviera Del Sol is a perfect example of this. This hotel is not for the All-Inclusive traveler wishing to only stay on the property. There are many Boutique hotels scattered around PDC all claiming to have the best situation for their guests. The great advantage to RDS is location; half a block... More

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights at the end of a 2 week overland trip through Guatemala/Belize/Mexico. We were very pleased with our choice. The hotel itself is in a very conveniently located for shops, restaurants, bars and the beach. The hotel is small, clean and comfortable, we'll maintained, and simply but nicely decorated. Our room was... More

Me and my wife slept here 2 nights while staying in playa del carmen. The place was very clean, nice reception staff, good location ( a block away from 5th ave and 8 min walk to the beach. The bad: the breakfast given by the hotel was poor, the rooms are a bit noisy- anyone making any noise in the... More

My daughter and I booked this fabulous, stylish hotel in Aprril, and we stayed here for 5 nights. Antonio greeted us with a warm reception and showed us our beautiful, spacious room on the first floor. The room with balcony overlooking swimming pool with palms trees was simply charming. We loved this hotel!!! The staff was fabulous. Gabriella and Yanina... More

This hotel has everything - great location close to the shops, restaurants & beach. It has lovely staff who really enjoy their jobs and are so friendly. The rooms are lovely and spacious and clean. The pool is an added bonus because when we visited in June the sea water was warm and not at all refreshing, so we found... More

Room was spacious and clean. There was air con, wifi in the lobby, (average wifi in the room) and free bottled water. We got a good deal on expedia for just over $100 per night for the room. Perfect location, right next to the Main Street (5th avenue - where all the restauarants and bars and shops are) and down... More
