My partner and I just returned from a 7 day vacation in Playa, staying at Hotel Lunata. We stayed in the Cordelia room which has a beautiful hacienda look and feel to it, and also has a refrigerator with small sink. The room and balcony directly faces 5th Avenue. The balcony's sliding glass door was double paned which did a... More

The Architecture is the first thing that caught my eye here, it's like going back in time. The rooms are very nice and the AC works great. Our room has a small balcony overlooking the foot traffic below, and a mini-fridge to store your cold beer. Everything in town is close and the breakfast was good with good coffee. It... More

Great little mexican style hotel in the heart of 5th avenue in Playa del Carmen. Beautiful outside and inside. Only thing its missing is a little pool, Its not a big hotel but a very small pool would make you just want to satay there all day. Its like a little old mexican hacienda. They let you boroow towels for... More

Staff was very attentive to requests, rooms exceeded expectations and hotel's location is perfect within the Fifth Ave. Would definitely stay again when back in Playa del Carmen. Has many tourist amenities close by such as restaurants, bars, discos, shopping centres and beaches! Do not miss this opportunity

My husband and I stayed here for 2 night. Its a small hotel (only 10 rooms) with great service and very welcoming. The rooms are quite big. We took the delux room with a king size bed which was very comfortable. Nice decor. Centrally located on main 5th Ave.

This hotel was very nice. It has a/c, free wifi, tasty free breakfast of cereal, fruit, OJ, and coffee at least while I was there, it was clean with very friendly staff, a small balcony and peaceful garden area. Like many of the hotels on this strip/street, it is very close to the beach and near all the action. I... More

Fantastic hotel in the heart of 5th ave. The rooms are big, clean and have individual balconies. The hotel is also a very interesting and cool design. The deal with the beach club at fusion isn't as good as some of the other clubs like Los Palapas. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel

We had seen the beautiful and peaceful garden at Hotel Lunata on our last visit to Playa del Carmen, and decided to give it a try on a recent visit (April 2014). It is located right on Fifth Avenue just steps from the restaurants and shops, about a block from the beach, and a short walk from the bus station... More

Hotel Lunata is situated right on 5th avenue in the city centre of Playa del Carmen. Close to restaurants, the bar street, bus terminals and the ferry terminal to Cozumel. The room was nice and clean with a lovely hacienda style. I have read that som guest did complain about noise from the street. We had a room facing the... More
