The hotel was nicely decorated and in good condition. Cleaning staff in general did a good job not outstanding. The soap dishes were never cleaned during the whole 8 days we were there, leaving some scummy residue. Same for toothbrush holder. There was not a safety deposit box in every room. When you got there you had to pay extra... More

We arrived late at night. The room was large but... The bedspread was stained. There was only 1/2 roll of toilet paper. There were gnats in the bathroom. The water from the shower was leaking all night. There were no wash cloths, The head board was not attach to the bed and every time you moved it banged against the... More

This was an awesome hotel I found- for under 100 a night we got a beach view room with a balcony. This was great because some other hotels on 5th Ave do not have balcony's. This room was clean and staff was friendly. We had the best time. Super close to 5th ave and all the action but still views... More

This was our second time to Playa and we were more than pleased with our stay at Casa Melissa! We stayed for 10 days. The staff was especially friendly. Entire hotel was always clean. Location was superb, just a few steps from the ocean and 5th avenue! Our room (2nd floor) had a balcony with ocean-view. TV had more than... More

Great location, few steps from 5th ave and the Ferry for travelers going to Cozumel island, plenty bars and restaurants within walking distance. ADO Bus station within walking distance, I stayed only 1 night since I booked a condominium in PDC. The location of the hotel is the best, everything within walking distance, also my room was very quiet. I... More

As XMIGUELITOx stated in their review, room 350 was great. I concur with everything said in that review. Some additional info, there appeared to be 7 ocean front rooms on the 3rd floor. room 350 was the northernmost room on that floor. Location of 350 puts you close to WahWah beach club. From the balcony (which is very nice btw)... More

First infor for young people who can’t live without wifi – there’s no wifi in the room! There is wifi in the lobby, but imagine while your roommate/family are getting ready (or sleeping earlier than you), you can’t hang around in the room & check out some information quickly (where to eat, or simply Google Translation for some menu words... Room#350 is the one lol. Great ocean view with multiple lights switches king size bed, tv is a bit small but who need a tv when you are on vacation. The room was always clean every morning. The room also had a nice bathroom with a huge tub (no shower curtain though), tip for warm water turn the knob to... More

Not too expensive and clean!! We booked an ocean view and got a partial view over-looking the park. WORTH EVERY PENNY!! 1/2 block from the airport bus (way cheaper than a taxi) and heading 2 blocks down Constitution ( in front of the hotel ), you will find the taco carts. They offer so many excellent choices and great prices.... More
