Great location, few steps from 5th ave and the Ferry for travelers going to Cozumel island, plenty bars and restaurants within walking distance. ADO Bus station within walking distance, I stayed only 1 night since I booked a condominium in PDC. The location of the hotel is the best, everything within walking distance, also my room was very quiet. I... More

As XMIGUELITOx stated in their review, room 350 was great. I concur with everything said in that review. Some additional info, there appeared to be 7 ocean front rooms on the 3rd floor. room 350 was the northernmost room on that floor. Location of 350 puts you close to WahWah beach club. From the balcony (which is very nice btw)... More

First infor for young people who can’t live without wifi – there’s no wifi in the room! There is wifi in the lobby, but imagine while your roommate/family are getting ready (or sleeping earlier than you), you can’t hang around in the room & check out some information quickly (where to eat, or simply Google Translation for some menu words... Not too expensive and clean!! We booked an ocean view and got a partial view over-looking the park. WORTH EVERY PENNY!! 1/2 block from the airport bus (way cheaper than a taxi) and heading 2 blocks down Constitution ( in front of the hotel ), you will find the taco carts. They offer so many excellent choices and great prices.... More

We enjoyed the location of this hotel. It was very clean. We stayed here 10 nights. I only had hot water 5 of those nights. Usually when we came in after the maid had been in the air conditioning had been turned off. It was 90+ during the day. Not all of the staff spoke English very good. It was... More

Casa Melissa is a two story hotel tucked away from the main plaza in Playa del Carmen. It is half a block from the ADO bus station, maybe 1/2 a block from the beach and about 1 block from the ferry terminal going to Cozumel. It could not be better for location. The hotel features a nice tiled entrance with... More

Just got back for 10 FANTASTIC days in Playa and Casa Melissa. Usually we do 5 days all- inclusive and 5 in a smaller hotel. This trip we did all 10 here. Great hotel, very clean and always smelled fresh in our ocean view room #254. Yes the beds were hard, but doable. The room was spacious. Our refrigerator worked... More

My wife and I have been to the Riviera Maya area 7 times and we have always stayed at all-inclusive resorts. We wanted to try a non all-inclusive hotel this time so we could try out some of the hundreds of restaurants in Playa Del Carmen and hopefully save some money. I've been looking for 2 or 3 years for... More
