I stayed 6 nights at this hotel and had a good experience. Its nothing fancy, but the price is great, the staff is very friendly and accommodating, and its an excellent location. Its a block away from 5th ave, but still quiet. There isn't much hot water to speak of, and the jacuzzi advertised does not work. Everything is kept... More

My son, who has been traveling around Mexico for a few months, found this hotel for a friend of mine and I. Ok, it's not the Marriott or hilton. But it's very clean, the help is wonderful and we only paid 75 a night. They have huge water bottles on each for to fill up water jugs which is great.... More

The hotel is nicely located only a block off of 5th avenue, not to close to hear all the noise and not too far of a walk. although a newer bar has opened close by so the upper rooms hear more noise, especially on the weekends. as most hotels in Playa Del Carmen the beds are hard and uncomfortable, which seems... I just visited the hotel casa de gopala in playa. What a great trip, the hotel staff was so friendly and helpful. The owners were so friendly as well. Go stay there when you are in playa. Amazingly convenient to the beach and all the stores and restaurants on 5ta avenida. I can honestly recommend this place for singles or... More

We stayed in the master suite at 160$.. so yes you have the kitchen and the bathroom... which I believe it's the minimum for the price.. good location but the room view on a dumpster with an old shack for homeless... and a good place for mosquitos to nest... The good thing is you're not too far from the beach... More

Excellent service, clean rooms, nice pool, comfortable, friendly staff. Everything is convenient and close by: the restaurants, the beach, the mall, the dive shop, transportation. The gardens are beautiful! Thank you all!

I stayed seven days at this hotel with my local dive group, and I must say we had a good time. We occupied total of six rooms. The hotel is close to everything in Playa Del Carmen. Wifi throughout, but the signal is very weak past the second floor. The AC works well, however I did not have any hot... More

This was a group dive trip. I have never been on 1 of these before., but I had an exceptional time staying here. The hotel is tucked in off the street, so you don't hear the traffic or the festivities going on close by. The rooms were large and well lit, with plenty of hot water for showers. The AC... More

The hotel could not be at a better location. Close to the beach and Quinta Avenida but, because of the beautiful foliage that surrounds it, it is shady and cool, giving us a brake from the blazing sun and heat all around. The rooms look more like 5 star hotel rooms: large, excellent hacienda style decoration, high ceilings, impeccably clean... More
