We stayed one night to visit a friend and were searching for a hotel to stay at that was fairly cheap but decent. this is the perfect place. It came out to approximately 600 pesos for me my wife and 2 year old son. We got a room with two double beds and a shower. But the best part is... More

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and for the most part it was really good. When we first arrived we were not told that the room didn't have air conditioning and that it was an extra $15US pn. We had the room by the pool which, once we paid to have the aircon, was a great spot. Without... More

The hotel is good! Nice and clean, friendly staff. Pool is not big but decent. The all-inclusive restaurant is a disaster! Food is not delicious and variety is so limited. Exclusive beach is small as well and on beach bar is very small and looks miserable.

Booked myself at this hotel for a couple of nights after my tour of Mexico ended in April. Originally reserved the cabana off the pool - which is their cheapest hotel, however, upgraded to the next level once I saw it (no AC, smelled a little musty). The other room was great - right off the pool, AC and cable... More

The price (650 pesos for a double room with a bath) was right on the money for a location right in the heart of old Playa - surrounded by original cantinas and only 2 blocks from the beach. The room was always clean, though privacy was a bit of an issue with two glass sliding doors opposite a sun-soaked wall,... More

This hotel could be lovely if it was just updated a bit. The setup is great - hammocks outside rooms, some areas with thatched roofs, a cute casita at the back. But it's really run down and could do with a lick of paint. I was lucky enough to stay in the casita, which was nice, gave privacy and a... More

This hotel was more than we could have ever expected! Perfect for a nice clean atmosphere yet full of culture! Not only did we receive friendly and quick service the quality of the rooms was great (super clean and nicely decorated)! Would totally recommend this to anyone wanting to stay in a great and affordable hotel that is comfortable with... More

We stayed here for two nights and loved the convenient location for the beach and main tourist section on 5th Avenue. The room was large, clean and well presented and the food was good. The hotel was noisy during the night, but it didn't keep us awake for long (a 10 hour flight from UK probably helped there). The staff... More

If you're looking for a reasonably priced hotel that's convenient, this is a great place. We got a room for 600 pesos, we could have had a kitchenette for only 100 pesos more. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. There's a courtyard with a nice pool, the restaurant is good (good coffee!) and the staff is friendly. It's only... More

We have visited Casa Tucan many times over the years. We have been satisfied with the rooms and service. This month, we specifically reserved 2 specific rooms for a reunion. They wrote the numbers down and guaranteed that we would have this room. When we arrived, at the correct time, a line had been drawn through or room numbers. We... More
