We spent one week in Riu Place Mexico in January. We celebrated our 20 years anniversary. We really enjoyed our stay. Service was excellent in every restaurants and bars. And also by the pool and on the beach. Waiters walked all day long with the smile on their face. They were never tired. Had always time for little joking. We... More

My wife and I spent a relaxing week at the RIU exercising, reading, relaxing and enjoying the good food. Rooms were well done but slight mildew smell as week progressed due to humidity. Staff responsive and welcoming. Entairtainment did not quite meet my wife's expectations. All considered a welcomed winter retreat.

My wife and I have been to several Riu Palace resorts and unfortunately the Riu Palace Mexico should not be classified as a "Palace" level property. We were both in dire need of a relaxing vacation, what we got was inconsistent service and quality not worthy of the Palace brand. THE ROOM Our problems started upon arrival in our room.... More

WE STAYED AT THE RIU PALACE MEXICO FOR ONE WEEK , FROM MARCH 5, TO MARCH 12. The hotel and the premises are extremely clean and well kept. The food is excellent (no comparison with Cuba, so much better ). The staff is friendly beyond imagination. Now, some not so good points: the bathroom is open to the bedroom, you wonder... More

Beach, sun, pool, hammocks in the shade, food a stone's throw anytime of day and ice, cold margaritas, pina coladas and mojitos brought to you by a friendly server. I have never been to an all inclusive resort but I loved this place. It's got that old world charm. Grounds are well kept and the staff is very friendly. The... More

Let me start by saying ignore the negative reviews. Just returned from the riu palace after 10 wonderful nights there, 4th till 14th march. On arrival to the hotel after a long long day travelling we were greeted with a bell boy sorting out are cases and then at reception a nice cold soft drink check in was very quick... More

We had an amazing 7 nights/8 days at this wonderful resort. Our Superior Junior Suite was very nice, the mini fridge was always well stocked and we had a nice sized balcony overlooking the fountains. We had a comfortable king sized bed (not two pushed together like at other resorts), and our room was kept clean daily. The service at... More
