My boyfriend and I just returned from our 7-day stay at the Reef Club Aug 30-Sept 6th 2003. This is our first all inclusive resort we've ever been to so we went with an open mind and knowledge that this was definitely not going to be like Toronto! We travelled via Sunquest Tours & we picked up immediately from the... More

Returned Sept. 3rd from a six night stay at the Reef Club. The resort is very lovely, set around a cenote and a spectacular, uncrowded beach. The rooms are very adequate, and we were lucky to have a third floor room with a balcony facing in towards the grounds of the resort. When we arrived we were assigned a second... More

The Reef Club was perfect for our family of five. The front desk was polite when we were advised we could not get adjoining rooms so they upgraded us to a suite with an ocean view. The food was not perfect all the time, but I appreciated the fact that they seemed to try and appease all nationalilties. I was... More

Just returned from the Reef Club, 9/03/03, and what a disappiontment it turned out to be. I read all the reviews about the reef club before making up my mind. I honestly thought that some of the reviews where quite harsh. How bad could it really be. I am a very easy going person that does not require much to... More

My wife and I stayed the week of August 24th, 2003. We are active, physically fit, middle-aged Californians, well traveled in Mexico, especially the dive-resort vacation spots. We go for the scuba diving primarily, and have always enjoyed Mexican Resorts and diving even under less than ideal conditions (think La Ceiba back in the day!). We love Mexico, and feel... More

My wife and I just returned from celebrating our 3rd anniversary at the Reef Club in Playa del Carmen in August and we had a fantastic time. We have done our fair share of traveling around the world and have lived abroad twice, and after reading the negative reviews some people posted on this site, they couldnt be further from... More

We just came back for a 7 days vacation and stayed at the Reef. We loved it there. The workers are all nice and polite. We had all inclusive which i think was great. The food was alright. The Italian food was supposed to be good but we didn't have the chance to go because you have to call at... More

We got married in beautiful Playa del Carmen and it was perfect. This is the place to go if you have a group since the place is beautiful and small. The hotel was nice enough to upgrade us so we were close to the pool and beach. We had a fabulous time. The people were friendly and always served us... More

My friend and i just returned from a 4 days trip staying at the Reef Club, and we were pleasantly suprised. The Reef Club is awesome, this may sounds strange, but it actually looks just like the pictures you see on the internet. The junlge -like setting of the hotel is great, pools were very nice and the beautiful turquiose... More
