My wife and i spent a week at the Reef in early august. We wanted to relax. The very first morning, after a short night, we went to the desk to get some information on the place. But instead we got pressured into a 90 minutes presentation with a salesman who wanted to sell us a time share. We have... more

As soon as we walked in the door we were approached by 3 different men to get our bags, get us drinks, and one man introduced himself as our hotel representative. Before giving us the room keys he had us sit and talk to him about different activities that we could buy from him at a lesser cost than other... more

Great Hotel, we had no complaints and really enjoyed ourselfs, friendly personal and i give two tips: get a massage at the spa because that really relaxes and get a tan with the tanning specialist! He helped me really good when i was burned and he's honest and gives you good advice. The sun is burning really hard over there,... more

First, I need to say that some of the reviews on this website were so off! I don't know if some of these people are either completely stuck or just feel the need to complain about everything. If that's the case, spend a few hundred bucks more and go somewhere else. I can't understand why you'd want room service when... more

Well upon arrival they acted as they were going to check us in to the hotel though they then said they had overbooked the hotel/room we booked. They said that we could stay across the street for a night until they had a room for us. They said it was part of the reef hotel but really is called Paseos... more

We are sorry to hear that you put this comment on trip advisor about your bad experience at our hotel. As you mentioned, the hotel is beautiful and there is nothing wrong with it but only because you fell while it was raining you call it your worse vacation. We do our best every day with everyone in the hotel...

We arrived at the Reef on Wed, 7/21. First impression. BEAUTIFUL. Resort is gorgeous, food was great, grounds well kept. Then the nightmare began. There was a total of 26 people in our group split among 7 rooms. 3 out of the 7 rooms had major thefts. I had 150 dollars stolen one day, 20 dollars the next. 2 other... more

We stayed at the Reef July 8 through July 11 2010. I was traveling with my wife and two children 15 and 12. We had a great time! Hotel: The resort was beautifully landscaped with lots of foliage and sort of a jungle feel. It was well maintained and very clean. We arrived at 11:30 (4.5 hours before check-in time)... more
