Just got back from our vacation to PlayaCar Palace. What can I say, it was the best vacation we have ever taken. We have been members of Palace Resort since 2006 and this is by far the best palace. Since the minute we got there to the minute we left we knew it was going to be different. Our room... More

we've stayed at over 20 hotels all over mexico and this was a good all-insclusive one. very nice staff. clean hotel, and the rooms were nice. great food at buffet - lots of variety, loved the coconut popsicles and lemon celery juice. didn't try the other restaurants though. the ballroom was beautiful, and the resort was pretty. beautiful pool area,... October 2011. Your just not going to make everyone happy but, it was seriously an unhappy vacation. Our first day was very magical. The open air lobby was very unique and beautiful. Our arrival reception was as always very classy for a Palace Resort. Beach area was outstanding. BUT!! On our first morning the hotel flooded. I woke up at... More

We just returned from our 5th trip to Playacar Palace in Playa Del Carmen and as always the staff are unbelievable! They greet us like lost family members whenever we arrive with hugs and handshakes! If you ever go to this fabulous resort look up these people I'm going to mention. In the buffet restaurant you will be greeted by... More

In our opinion this place is fantastic. We had problems on the first night with the air conditioning not working and we had to move to another room that was away from the main part of the hotel. But we moved back to our original room the following day and had no other problems. This was our first time at... More

By far the best part of this hotel is the location in playa del Carmen. Great beach with miles to walk on, ferry to Cozumel right next door , shops and resturants inches away.. Checking in no towels or complimentary drink like le blanc does however I did receive a partially dead carnation. The room itself is beautiful like all... More

The best part of this property is the ability to leave it to go vist other Palace properties. We experienced much of the bad I've read in other reviews although the property has a number of pluses. Our first night was in a double bed room - not very romantic - and in the construction zone - the room was... More

My wife and I have been going to Palace Resorts properties for years now but had never been to the PlayaCar Palace. What a mistake we've been making. Don't get me wrong we love the Beach Palace, Sun Palace, and Moon Palace, but the PlayaCar Palace shouldn't be missed. Beautiful property with a location that can't be beat. Amazing beach,... More

This review is a year overdue, but after staying at a disappointing resort in Punta Cana, I felt the need to put in a good word for Playacar Palace. We got married there last May and had an absolutely amazing experience! The beach is amazing. Would have liked to see more shaded areas on the beach, but the sand and... More
