The Playa Del Carmen beaches are wonderful. The water clear and sparkling turquoise blue. Our room had all of the normal amenities that you would expect. I was neither disappointed nor blown away. The service was pretty great. We were given a drink as we were checking in and they didn't stop flowing until we enjoyed the final beer in the car ride to the airport.
