This was a good hotel, with excelent friendly staff. The room were OK but nothing special. The location was great two blocks from the beach, directly on the main street. Free highspeed internet in rooms. The rates were a little overpriced on what else is in Playa. But certainly a recommendable hotel more

Good hotel if you are busy taking in the scenery, not lounging at the hotel 24/7. If you want a resort, pay for a resort. If you want a nice, small hotel at the quieter end of Avenida 5, then Quinto Sol is a good choice. Try for the rooms on the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th floor though... the ones... more

Big rooms, good location, smell of sewage emanating from toilet. What more can you ask for? I actually liked the place because the tree growing up through the atrium was cool, the staff was always nice but didn't bother me, and it had A/C. But I can see how some of the more finicky folks would complain about the toilet... more

Is the Quinto Sol a resort, no. Is it a simple clean place to spend a few days in PDC yes. What do you want for $100 a night high season? We called during Easter Break on Monday for a mini-suite for Wednesday and it was no problem. All the employees were extremely helpful with the booking and on arrival.... more

this is a clean, nice hotel. However, if you are booking with expedia, breakfast is NOT included. The service is a little less than friendly also. more
