Had an amazing time at this resort. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The entertainment staff were so much fun and friendly, and all the waiters were very attentive especially Manuel and Alberto. The rooms provided everything we needed and we were steps away from the main pool. My only complaint is that our air con did not work... More

We have vacationed in Mexico nearly thirty times. So, we are familiar with many hotels, beaches, and regions in Mexico. This was our 3rd time to the Playa del Carmen region. We were thrilled with the beach! They have done a fabulous job restoring the beach after the hurricane years ago wiped out much of the beach along this coast.... More

Beautiful hotel but badly needs the repairs/upgrade it is scheduled for. The hotel is beautiful but has alot of ants in the rooms, leaky taps and the doors are a nightmare, had to get keys changed everyday. I loved the openess of it as it is like little hut houses instead of a tall multi floor hotel. Ours was right... More

Small hotel, low season, not crowded. .. BUT do no expect complimentary early check in or late check out. Cealing Fan stopped working the second day, TV did not work, iron did not work, no sugar for the coffee in room. Bathroom floods when you turn on the shower. Unable to squeeze shower gel and shampoo from container. Dark room.... More

The only people who keeps this hotel Alive is the guys who organize the games and the theater... nice resort and nice food the positives things is that sexy malambo and mister chaparrito are very funny guys and they make you feel comfortable and they have excellent personality so you can't be bored there with their games. The only negative... More

In a beautiful location and with great potential but oh this hotel is in need of some tlc. it's dirty and tatty and the staff whilst friendly don't seem to care. Many requests put to the reception staff just went unanswered no matter how many times they were asked. many people asked for room changes including us. We would come... More

We went to the Allegro Playacar last week and had a great time! Loved the size of the place- you could be on the beach in two minutes from anywhere in the resort. The pools were clean and cool, and the beach was gorgeous. We spent most of our time on the beach, because that was our preference and it... More
