Great location with villas above stores restaurants which makes everything so convenient. Our villa #1 overlooked the marina and the bridge to Charlotte harbor. Read other reviews and not sure if they stayed at this place. There is no 3rd floor and their are elevators and ramps for the handicapped. Restaurants are nice, the oyster bar in particular.. What great... More

This is my third time here, April 2012. I love this resort because the beach is awesome, the place is small and cozy, and the staff are hardworking and very nice. I had a great experience with all the staff to name a few Jesus Venegas, Hose, Ricardo and Victor. They all worked very hard always with a kind word... More

This was our ninth visit to Fisherman’s. We love the staff, the beach and the location. Although the studios have never been updated as promised we have always enjoyed the general facilities and meeting other “repeaters” like ourselves. The Customer Service Manager (Pablo) continues, when you can find him, to promise facility and equipment updates that will occur just after... More

I was able to head down to Playa Del Carmen and stay at Fishermans Village in a condo. This was a great way to take a girls trip. We had a full kitchen and so this was nice to cook a brunch everyday before we head down to the most beautiful beach and a very relaxing pool for the day.... More

It was very quite and private. Love the condo we stayed in. Roomy, so much nicer than a cramped hotel room. Would never stay anywhere else. Felt like home. Books to read on the beach, which was fabulous. Easy access to the most beautiful beach. Wow!!! Food was great and the staff was very helpful and kind.

I'm amazed at the negative reviews for Fisherman's Village. I couldn't disagree more. We stayed with our two boys in a private unit (penthouse 351) with wonderful decor, an updated kitchen with granite, stainless and new appliances and had the best views. We could sit on the balcony and see the lights of Cozumel at night. We even had some... More

We visited Fisherman's Village, because we own a time share in the Sunset group, and had not been to Playa del Carmen. We had a one bedroom, 2 bath unit with another smaller 1 bedroom unit for friends. Unfortunately, there were no elevators and we were on the third floor, with our bedroom another flight up. Since I have problems,... More

We stayed at Fisherman's room 226 from December 31 - January 9th. The room itself was great for our family of four. There was enough space and amenities in the suite that suited us perfect. The view from our balcony was the most beautiful view we could have hoped for. We loved the beach and how close it was to... More

We rented two units, #340 and #341, from private owners which were listed on VRBO. We had two families with each family staying in one of the units. If you stay here, be aware that half the units in the complex are privately owned and half are owned by a timeshare company. Also, 2 of the 4 buildings are new... More

I stayed for a week November 26th thru December 3rd, 2011 and had the best time. The rooms are spacious and fully equipped. Some renovating is in the future, so the beds will be replaced. It's only a 15 minute walk either on the beach or on the beautiful street into Playa del Carmen. The waves are crashing just outside... More
