I was in town for my daughter's wedding. Casa Ticul is close to the beach-4 min walk. Reasonably priced. Bright airy rooms.Very friendly staff. The food ladies in the rooftop kitchen can cook'em up. Real nice. Start the day off with good food. Meet some of your fellow guests. At least 10 were here for the wedding. Felt like I... More

I stayed at this small hotel for 2 weeks in January, 2012. I was very pleased with the accomodations. Very good beds and shower pressure (although no hot water between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM - a very minor inconvenience which I quickly adjusted to). The staff is universally pleasant; receptionist Paolima was very helpful. Nice breakfast on the roof... More

We had an incredibly nice stay at Casa Ticul. It had everything you could ask for: clean rooms, welcoming and helpful staff, and a really nice complimentary breakfast served on the rooftop deck. More than anything, I liked the design of the hotel. Everywhere were little details that really showed that someone with great taste took the time to make... More

I booked this hotel based on trip advisor reviews. I was very glad I did. It was exactly as advertised and the price was great!. The room was big, nicely decorated and the bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in while traveling, The staff was pleasant, extremely helpful and never obtrusive. The transportation that... More

We chose casa ticul based on the reviews and were not disappointed. The jr suite is beautifully decorated and inviting and the bed was very comfy. Paloma and Felix go above and beyond, and the breakfast girls upstairs do a fantastic job! casa ticul is close to5th ave, and only a short walk to the beach clubs. The only downfall... More

We stayed there for 3 nights in January. Looked good on trip adviser. The breakfast was nice but resturant was not open apart from breakfast. The biggest problem in this place is the acoustic of the walls. At night you can hear people walking and talking outside, music from the bars near by and if people coming to their room... More

This is a great boutique hotel. It's far enough away to drown out the sounds of the late night bars but close enough to walk home from them. They provide really really great service, they arranged a transport for us at a very reasonable to and from the airport. There is none of that "working for the tip" feeling, it's... More

Don't get me wrong, this place it's clean, new and would be a great value. The only problem they have, is that the walls are too thin, you can hear everything that happens around the hotel (People talking in the next room, the construction workers from across the street and even the cleaning ladies yapping in the hallway) All those...
