In a pretty ordinary town and behind an unassuming facade you will find this beautiful hotel of luxurious proportions. Upon arrival we were greeted by Alex the host who was very warm and accomodating. We can't say enough good things about this oasis - the rooms are beautiful and spacious, the bathroom was amazing and our room (no 1) led... more

This is a sweet little hotel, just about 6 blocks walk to the center of Merida. The amenities are amazing considering that there are only 8 rooms. There is a gorgeous pool, a masseuse, a bar/lounge area, and a full breakfast. The staff speaks wonderful English and can help book day trips. We had probably the best room in the... more

Spend your days touring Merida, racing through the chaos of street life and Mexican culture. But when the sun begins to dip, retreat to the Hacienda Merida and gather by the pool to experience the pure grace of dusk at the Hacienda. Enjoy a drink and conversation as the darkening sky submits to the glowing azure pool and feel the... more

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Hacienda Merida. Every aspect of the hotel is picturesque. They did not miss a detail when putting together this place. I highly recommend room #3. It is the only room with a second floor view of the pool and the courtyard. The staff was very attentive, always looking to... more

We recently stayed at this hotel in the very bustling city of Merida. Merida is busy but amazingly friendly. The Hotel sits tucked in along a busy non-descript street a few short blocks from the Historic Center. Locating the Hotel is a bit tricky in the confusion of one-way streets in Merida, but you will be very pleasently surprised when... more

I love Merida. I loved it so much that I ended up buyin a house in Merida. Because of the remodeling I have visited Merida four times the past year. I stayed in good, average and bad places, but never in one that I could rate as being excellent. Until I stayed at Hacienda Merida. I have travelled a lot... more

What an absolute gem! This boutique hotel encompasses all you'd possibly desire in a wonderful retreat. The owners have impeccable taste in decor. The art is wonderfully evocative and you may even have the pleasure of talking to the artist himself while there! The staff are all extremely warm and helpful. Christian, the bartender was especially nice. This is an... more

Walking through Merida, I stumbled onto an undiscovered jewel!! This intimate hotel resembles some of the higher end haciendas I visited in the Yucatan but it is in the center of town! There is a zen spa feel to this hotel that hits you the moment you walk through the doors. I had a fantastic Pina colada prepared by the... more

I spent one night at this place in November. I really liked the place, and the owners obviously have good taste, but there were a few little problems--easy to fix, and I think just a symptom of the place being open only a few months. First, the good stuff: very restful feel to the place. The thick walls drown out... more
