It is a beautiful setting behind doors in what otherwise is a pretty depressed looking area. Moorish arches adorn the swimming pool area. Our room opened right onto the pool. We had two hammocks and a path chair on our porch. I would recommend room #1. There was no sitting area nor chair with a back which would have been... More

Excellent Boutique Hotel in the heart of historical center of Mérida! One of the receptionists, Albert, was particularly helpful with everything and helped guide us through our trip even lending us his own history book on Izamal before we visited the historical town the day after. Service was impeccable ... they even had a nice light breakfast ready for us... More

We spent two days in Merida and the Hotel Hacienda was a lovely place to stay. The pool and surrounds were the highlight. Unfortunately there was a booking mix up but the guys managed to free up a room. They also helped tremendously organising a tour for us.

This place looks nothing from the street but inside it stretches back through a pleasant courtyard garden which includes a small pool - a bit of an oasis really - and reminded me of a stay in a riad. We had one of the Executive Rooms, not room 3, which I judge to be the best as it is on... More

Meridas is a town worth visiting. It is walkable and has enough to keep you busy for a number of days. Hacienda Merida is a genuine boutique hotel, but not quite at the very highest level. It is clean and intimate and the staff are increasingly attentive s the tip of leaving day approaches. Rooms are well equipped if a... More

This hotel is probably the best hotel I've ever been to in Mexico. The service is very friendly and helpful. The room was quite clean and peaceful. It was very quiet in the nighttime, so I wasn't woken up in the middle of the night. Also, the room had Wifi. What really stands out about this hotel is its amazing... More

I recommend this hotel for independent travellers to use while exploring Merida and as a base for the surrounding attractions. The staff are very helpful and recommended some excellent locations to visit that we did not consider. We stayed 4 nights and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. * WiFi strength was good * Parking is very secure and close by -... More

A delightful hacienda. Lovely pool and gardens. Breakfast is served around the pool. Free tea, coffee and water. There is also a Bar. No Restaurant in the complex. Large room (with king bed) and large bathroom. Nice bathroom products. Fan, aircon, balcony, safe in room, free wifi in all areas. Small TV. The complex has a beautiful ambience away from... More

I was attending a conference in Merida at one of the larger hotels and decided I wanted a quieter place. The Hotel Hacienda was definitely quiet and had a charm reflective of the surrounding old town in Merida. The courtyard area has a beautiful pool area which is great for relaxing. I was given room 5 which was a large... More

Hotel Hacienda is a beautiful small hotel with only 8 rooms. Our room was lovely and the bathroom had a real Mexican feel. The wifi worked well in the room - the only time we encountered this in Mexico. The room was well away from the street and was very quiet. Massages in the special little hut were available on...
