We stayed here for four nights and I'd happily have stayed here longer. The personal service and recommendations for things to do and places to eat from Albert are backed up by an attentive and smiling staff. The place itself is charming as you can see from the photograph. Despite being on the main north south street of the old... More

This is one of the most beautiful and friendly boutique hotels we have ever stayed in. The rooms are lovely and they couldn't do enough for us. They have a great breakfast in the morning. Merida is a wonderful town to visit, and this hotel is just off the center of town, so it is peaceful and quiet there. A... More

Unfortunately we were at the end of our holiday, and could only spend one night here, which is shame as it is lovely as is Merida. There are only a small number of rooms, some have balconies and hammocks, and there is a lovely pool and a cloister terrace where breakfast is served. There is also a small bar and... More

In the middle of the city easy walk to cathedral and restaurants. Quiet though on busy street. Very small with only 8 rooms. we had 2 ensuite rooms that overlooked the pool and a small quadrangle, clean and comfortable. A cooked breakfast to die for and i probably will. A very attentive and helpful host we will definitely return, highly... More

Very friendly welcome, beautiful pool, lobby. Helpful host. But not sure if it is because we booked through booking com , the price was not cheap, but we were stuck into a room at the back, no view, dark next to a shed, whilst it appears there were only another couple in the hotel at the time, we would think... Recent two night stay at this unassuming hotel, which was located a few blocks from the main square. We were surprisingly upgraded on arrival, and the room itself was clean and functional with a comfortable bed and reasonably sized shower. We really enjoyed the breakfast in the morning which was cooked "in-house", and the service and help provided by the... More

Honestly this could not be a better place to enjoy the city of Merida. The hotel is located extremely close to the central square and the numerous restaurants and sights. The staff could not be more friendly and welcoming. After a busy day there is no better place to return to and enjoy a wonderful cool swim and a beer.... More

I didn't pick this hotel, it was part of a package on a two week Mexican tour deal, but I couldn't believe my luck when I arrived. Firstly I have to add that there was a mix up with our booking, I'm not sure even now whether it was the fault of the hotel or the tour operator, however it's... More

We truly enjoyed every aspect of our visit to Hotel Santiago Merida. We arrived late and we were greeted by Ramon the charming chef who took the time to pour us a glass of wine and explain some facts about the charming historical city center while sitting next to the charming pool in the courtyard. We started out the next... More

Amazing entrance to this establishment - pool outside - fantastic, soft towels, bathrobes. Room to die for - so large - twin bedded room, walk in changing room, bathroom - enough room to have a ball. Owner fantastic - attended to your every need. Breakfast delicious - dont order too much large portions. Would definitely return to this establishment. Plenty... More
