Harbinger of a thoroughly enjoyable Mexican experience - Joe, from Casa Santiago, responded to my email enquiries with patience and helpful information. Our hosts were extremely helpful and gracious. They assisted with our luggage, kept the kitchen stocked with fruit, tea & coffee, bottled water and snacks, located city information for us and gave us lots of space to just relax and enjoy the property. The maintenance was excellent with the linens being changed frequently and fresh flowers in the lounge area.... more

Casa Santiago is a wonderful place to anchor a stay in Mérida. We stayed 5 nights and found it hard to leave. Raphael is a gracious host. We felt we met the innkeeper on arrival and bid adios to a friend when we left. Like many places in Mexico you arrive at a street address with only the house number... more

We stayed three nights and it was a good experience. The rooms are nice and clean and the common areas very good also. We recommend it as a very good place to stay.Felt like home. more
