My fiance and i stayed 7 nights, and wow what a great time, We used the pick up service from the airport, i do recommend this as this city is quite large and a bit confusing to get around in at first. Dante was there to greet us and show us around, he is so much fun and very helpful,... more

We stayed here for 4 nights and loved every minute of it. Upon arrival, we were given a full tour of the B&B and made to feel completely at home. This B&B is adjacent to another B&B owned and operated by the same wonderful people and so you get to have the use of 2 gardens and pools! It is... more

Casa Santiago is wonderful, they arranged our pick up at the airport, Frank greeted us with wine and beer as soon as we arrived, and from the moment we walked in the door, Dante and Estaben did everything possible to make our stay wonderful. Vince and the dogs had breakfast with us daily, and gave great advice for places to... more

We stayed at Casa Santiago for several days and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Animal lovers will be charmed by presence of the owners' small Boston Terrier, Felix, who seems a low-key host himself. Though we were in the area to work, we were made to feel comfortable and "at home". We never had trouble connecting to WiFi on our laptops... more

Our family of four (two teenagers) had high expectations for this place given the rave reviews we read on tripadvisor prior to our trip to Merida. Our one week stay at Casa Santiago exceeded our high expectations. Vince is the consummate host, effortlessly catering to his guests' needs without being intrusive or overbearing. He arranged our tours and recommended excellent... more

Behind the simple door a wonderful oasis awaits at Casa Santiago. The gardens and pool are lush and quiet. Every detail is perfect, including luxurious bedding, great mattresses and pillows, thick towels, and lots of hot water when you want it. Vince and Frank have created a wonderful retreat....one of the best we encountered on a month's visit to the... more

My husband and I spent a few days at Casa Santiago back in June 2008. I had found it by chance on Trip Advisor and based on the few reviews back then it was exactly what we were looking for and to be honest when booking I thought maybe too good to be true. However, upon arrival (we were picked... more

The owners of this B&B are very interesting, friendly and helpful. The property has been beautifully renovated. Breakfast was great with lots of fresh fruit and homemade croissants. We didn't book ahead and the only room available was the one in the front. Vince warned it would be noisy and it was. So reserve here for a great place to... more

The Yucatan room is in front of the house and faces the street. It is usually used by Gamma and the kids. It is only $59 a night. Since I was staying in the room for a time we have since added a sound proof window which has lower the sound immensely.

Great stay!

From the moment we walked in the door, Vince was a wonderful host, who took great care of us. Vince greeted us with wine and a succint overview of Merida's best restaurants, attractions and amenities. He he was always helpful and appropriately house proud of his gorgeous colonial home in the heart of Merida. If you are looking for a... more

My husband, my parents and I spent several weeks at Casa Santiago in Merida at the end of December & beginning of January. My college age brother and his friend showed up for a week of our stay. It was a delightful stay for all of us, ranging in age from 20-61. Merida and the surrounding areas offers a variety... more
