We (two couples) loved our stay in Casa Santiago! Frank, Sergio, and the staff treat their guests extremely well, and they provided us with great recommendations in Merida and beyond! The building/rooms are very nice and include all the amenities you might want. However, the quality of other guests and our hosts were top-notch which made staying here all the... More

We stayed for 8 action packed days with Frank K. and his delightful staff. The facility is great, and architecturally really cool. It is located in the heart of Merida, which we found to be a very safe, walkable and friendly city. The day trips were very well organized, and extremely interesting and fun! Our visit to Uxmal and the... More

My brother and I stayed at Casa Santiago for 4 nights in February and had an absolutely wonderful time. Frank, the owner, made us feel right at home from the moment we stepped into his beautiful colonial B&B. He offered us a welcome drink and we immediately bonded! Sergio, the manager, was extremely helpful with various recommendations. If you want... More

A wonderful place to spend a relaxed vacation. The bed was very comfortable, fresh clean towels every day, fresh fruit every morning, great coffee, and wonderful conversations. Esopo put a smile on our face every day, serigo was very helpful in many, many ways. We were able to walk to pretty much everything. All in all, a wonderful place to... More

Well located within easy walking distance to the Zocalo, Casa Santiago was the perfect place to stay. Host Frank and house manager Sergio were helpful with suggestions on how to implement planned activities, and thier recommended tour guide Roberto is knowledgeable about the local Mayan community, culture and history. Roberto is a fine gem! We also enjoyed our good morning... More

Gregarious host Frank has consolidated three houses with their courtyard gardens into one lovely B&B. We found our room quite dim despite a nice big window onto the patio - dark paint and low watt bulbs. Our daughters had no window at all in their room. Sergio the manager arranged a tour of Uxmal which was fantastic and directed us... More

My family and I just had our best vacation ever. Casa Santiago truly has "Old World" Charm. We had an entire house to ourselves, with each bedroom having a private bathroom. The manager of the property, Sergio, was essentially our own private concierge - - making suggestions for things to see and places to eat. There are 2 separate swimming... More

Casa Santiago is a lovely home located near the church Santiago. It's location is one of the best. It is a short walk to the main square, the zoo and other places of interest. My favorite room is the Garden room because of the window but all rooms are beautiful. It is easy to feel at home here and with... More
