Loved staying at the top of the staircase that faces the rear courtyard! Also had a view of the front courtyard... but our room downstairs was hot and the bed was very uncomfortable. We all loved this art hotel with her mosaic tiled bathrooms and personalized service. We stayed in 2 rooms for three nights and while we do recommend... more

If you want a fabulous deal with an eclectic artsy feel- this is the place! My room was huge and I really enjoyed the artwork all over the property. It is a great location for visiting historical center of Merida. I was there May 27 and 28th and it was over 100 degrees there so make sure you get a... more

Have stayed in Merida many times. Consider the Trinidad and Trinidad Galeria the best in terms of value, location, and an off-beat "old Mexico" atmosphere. Found the staff very attentive and accomodating. Room was clean, with everything in working order. While there is no restaurant, coffee was available in the lobby daily. Found this to be a very relaxing place,... more

It is hard to describe Hotel Trinidad as it is full of contrast. First of all the pros. Very good location, very close to the Zocalo and good restaurants, helpful staff, clean rooms, great indoor square with fountain and colonial style, a rooftop jacuzzi, bar etc. linked with reasonable prices would make it a steal offer but... The rooms could... more

I stayed at the Trinidad just for 2 nights, in one of the cheap rooms, sharing a bathroom. Not only is this hotel an amazing deal, it is also a beautiful place to stay in, while you see this beautiful city. The location is great and even though it is on a busy street I couldn't hear a thing from... more

The staff at Hotel Trinidad is very professional and friendly. It provides 24 hour hot water and coffee, and a kitchenette. We stayed there for 3 days, and it is a decent hotel for a good price. ($500 pesos/room for 3 ppl) However, the only downside is the mosquito, you should definitely bring mosquito repellent with you in Merida~ more

We stayed there for 2 nights and it was great. The ambience and atmosphere was little like a castle in the dusty city. A really great place to relax after a city walk. The rooms were very basic and small . It could also have been cleaner... But all-in-all a nice place if you like it typical mexican and if... more

From beginning to end, our stay at the Hotel Trinidad was just perfect. I booked by email and the friendly hotel's owner wrote back to me immediately, with advice on the best (and cheapest!) ways to reach Merida. The hotel itself is right in the centre of this incredible city - but although Merida is hectic, loud and busy, the... more

I stayed three nights recently at funky, charming Hotel Trinidad in Merida. I'd stayed three previous times over the past five years and, as before, it felt like home away from home to me. It's an anonymous place as viewed from street side. Rooms are along a courtyard on two levels, so it doesn't get much direct sunlight down below.... more

We went to Merida to spent a week of relaxation me and my girlfriend. Our experience was great, very friendly and polite staff and the atmosphere that you can find in this place is very relaxing and colonial type one. A plus for this hotel are the common areas where you can find; pool tables, a fridge and also you... more
