The posada was nicely decorated, but our room was claustrophobic (we were on the first floor): there was a huge wall behind one window and the air conditioning didn't work well. Moreover, the bathroom wasn't very clean. Finally, there was a big space between the door and the floor, which caused a lot of mosquitoes to enter in our room. more

I found Ron and Manuel to both be so friendly and helpful. Their place was wonderfully decorated and comfortable. Ron also knows a lot about Merida and shared a lot of info with us so that was really great. Highly recommended! more

The rooms were very clean as well, and the beds comfortable. The bathroom was... more

I enjoyed my stay here so much that I would love to return for longer, it felt like a home from home. The room was excellent, with interesting art and decor and a great bed and good shower. We were warmly welcomed by Manuel and Ron who own the property and made to feel like we were a part of the family. The room was very nice, and the service was great. We especially enjoyed the walking tour of the city and the wealth of information about restaurants, tourist sights, and things to do in Merida that we... more

This place is the best of both worlds. If you walk 5 blocks( or so) one direction, your right in the heart of the historical district. (Museum's, the cathedral, restaurants, shopping). If you walk one block in the oppisite direction you will find a sweet little open air market with fresh fruit, flowers, food stalls, and home made tortillas. In... more
