Fir the past 5 years we have visited Merida and enjoyed our stay at Los Arcos. David Reed is the consummate host and guide. Sumptuous bedding en suite and a delicious breakfast each morning. Gracias, wonderful David!

Words can't truly describe David and his wonderful bed and breakfast. He is the most amazing host and his B&B is the most wonderful place I've ever experienced. The casitas, main house and grounds are magical. And the breakfasts were fabulous. David and Los Arcos will be my primary reason to return to Merida, and I'm already making my plans... More

Reading descriptions of the abundance of paintings, sculpture, masks, collectibles throughout this fascinating house offer just a small part of what makes staying with David at Los Arcos such a unique experience. In the end it’s David’s warm hospitality, generous nature and incredible trust that make this stay in Merida so memorable and an experience you want to repeat. We... More

This was our 1st stay at Los Arcos B&B (and also our 1st trip to Merida) but it will not be our last. Everything we read from other TripAdvisor reviews proved to be accurate and true. In a sentence, David is the kindest, most generous and caring host a traveler could EVER help to encounter. His place is incredibly centrally... More

Another February, another trip to the Yucatan, which for us means another stay with David at Los Arcos. Yes, we are among the numerous repeat guests...and we have every intention of continuing. Why would we not want to stay in a supremely comfortable casita...in a lush plant-and-flower filled setting....waking every day to open our window so that we can hear... More

Charming, unique, romantic, personal yet private, warm and fun. Not a luxury hotel, but for far less money you can have a wonderfully special experience, incredible decor and amazing (and huge!) breakfasts

It's been 5 years now that we have been guests at Los Arcos when we want to visit Merida and take a break from the beach. David (aka Buddha! because David is the most gracious and relaxed Host and yet everything at the Inn is precisely run) and his staff continue to make a stay at the Inn memorable and... More

This was my third year in a row spending the first full week in January with David Reed at his Los Arcos bed & breakfast in Merida, Mexico. As before, David was the ultimate host, attending to your every need with is laid back yet ever watchful attention to detail. The new landscaping in the back courtyard has grown in... More

We were hesitant to write a review, as the more people that know about Los Arcos, the more we will have to work to get in at the right times, but what's right is right! Los Arcos is by far one of the most amazing B&B's in Mexico and perhaps in the Western Hemisphere. Davis is the most accommodating of... More

I stayed at Los Arcos for 9 days and look forward to returning again in the future. David, the host, is gracious; the room, garden and pool were beautiful; the location is right in the Centro; and the breakfasts (included in the price of the room) were amazing.
