During a 9-day tour of the Yucatan, my boyfriend and I spent 2 nights at Los Arcos B&B, and it was hands-down the nicest place we stayed throughout the entire trip. David is a wonderful host: he's willing to spend lots of time with his guests, and gave us some great recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing, but he is also... more

Within an hour of arriving in Merida our traveling companion had her purse stolen during mass at the cathedral! Thank God for David and his crew. They were very, very helpful in hauling us all over Merida replacing our friends identity, even to the main police station (scary!) where Berto (God bless him!!!) acted as our translator. We spent four... more

My wife and I stayed with David at Los Arocos for four nights in June. We travel often, but have never come across a B and B, host and staff quite like what we found at Los Arcos. David is the quintessential host that offers you more than just plentiful and delicious breakfasts. He is a treasure tucked away in... more

We love Merida. Los Arcos B&B was wonderful. David was very personable. The rooms were clean and extremely nice. We would love to return and plan to try to be there during Christmas to experience the culture and festivals during the holidays. We were treated like family. This is truly home away from home. more

My partner & I spent 5 nights at Los Arcos during the hottest time of the year and the paradise that David has created really saved our vacation. We found Merida challenging for various reasons but whenever we walked back through Los Arcos' doors we knew we could relax, cool down in the beautiful pool in the peaceful garden, enjoy... more

My partner and I had a wonderful time staying with David in his amazing, comfortable and fascinating home. David made us feel absolutely relaxed, and got the balance right between being friendly and welcoming whilst also giving you your own private space. His house is wonderful, a real cool oasis away from the hot streets of Merida. Just the artwork... more

My wife and I flew to Merida looking for a retirement home to purchase, but what we found was much more than that. In addition to finding a quaint B and B with a great location, spectacular breakfasts, beautiful main house and guest rooms, we found something more....a friend. The owner of Los Arocs, David, is not only a truly... more

We spent four days in Merida and the Los Arcos was nothing less than just great and relaxing. I never had breakfast in such a beautiful garden, Host David not only provides the tastiest breakfast, but also stories about Merida and every info, you need. Los Arcos is maybe a little more expensive, than other B&Bs, but even if, it... more

I'll try not to repeat all the wonderful things written previously about Los Arcos but I must repeat one. David is a fabulous host...certainly the best I've encountered in over 30 years of travel (John at the Secret Garden in Iguassu Falls runs a close second). He makes what is already a special place something extraordinary. Thanks David for your... more

We've just returned from our ninth visit to Los Arcos, and continue to find it unrivalled in Merida hostelry. The pool has been freshly retiled, but apart from that everything remains about the same. Frequent travelers know what a comforrt that can be! Breakfasts are still lavish and prepared to order. David, the owner, makes a list of each guest's... more
