Good location although not very close to the centre (a taxi to a bus station is 50 peso, it seems to be a standard fee for anywhere in Merida) but close to Santa Ana square where you find a food market and close to Paseo Montejo with its Noche Mexicana on Saturdays. The hotel is in a colonial style building... More

Conveniently located. Nice courtyard with pool, average room with view of the church (2nd floor) Too much traffic noice though and hardly any water pressure in the shower and a toilet that didnt flush properly; Overpriced and not great quality breakfast. All in all bit of a disappointment.

Overall, a good place to stay on a budget in Merida. Great price, great location, and free parking. Our room was sparsely decorated and pretty basic, but the air conditioning worked well and so we had no complaints. Breakfast was not being served while we there. Tom, the manager, was helpful with driving directions, and the others were great with... More

My family stayed here over Christmas, and we really loved it. The rooms were clean, comfortable and air-conditioned, and the staff were kind and helpful. There is a pretty patio where breakfast is cooked and served by a very sweet woman, and the location is close to the Paseo de Montejo and Centro without being loud or overly busy. The... More

I like everything about this hotel, the staff, comfortable room ,cleanliness and stuff being in good repair. It is a couple of blocks from paseo Montejo and probably six long blocks from Centro. There are some excellent restaurants nearby. Definitely where I will stay the next time I am in Merida.

Very nice little hotel. It is located near the Mercado Santa Ana (great to eat) and the Paseo Montejo (great to walk after the large meal). It is not as close to downtown as I expected, but still a walkable distance and you find nice coffee houses on your way there. Everything is very clean and (most of) the staff... More

I stayed there for two weeks on two separate visits.[read entire review] Great location and great price. All the staff are very, very helpful. The Hotel is safe and has off-street parking. Breakfast is nice to have there. Its convenient and cheap. For $80mxn you get ham/eggs or bacon/eggs with fruit platter, toast, coffee and drink. The lavenderia across the... More

The staff was helpful. Rooms are modest, clean and air conditioned. A small pool is good for cooling down in the middle of summer or for kids to splash around. Good location near Palacio Canton and the boulevard.

Santa Ana hotel was clean and comfortable with a set of friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is located a few blocks from the main square but you can find good dining/cafe (highly recommend Cafe Creme just two blocks away) /gift shops within a few blocks. In my opinion they delivered (in service and accommodation) above and beyond for what... More

I decided the 5 rating was well deserved due to the constant improvement in the rooms. You will not find a better value in Merida. With an unbeatable location. As always, a great visit. Have been visiting for many years and both the staff and the facilities are always improving. Rooms very nice and very comfortable. I prefer 1st floor... More
