Rooms are quite basic and the first one we were allocated was positively dingy but that was soon changed for something much lighter and better. Everything worked after a few teething problems. There are no safes in the rooms. The place could use some attention, but is sound overall. Staff are pretty helpful. Location seemed a bit out of the... More

I love the Hotel Santa Ana. The management and staff are very friendly and helpful, the atmosphere is charming, and the rooms are clean with good air conditioning. The location is both convenient to the charming Santa Ana square, multiple convenience stores, a laundry, and a cafe with great espresso--and it's a very short walk down calle 60 to the... More

Booked via hotels.com for less than 30$CAN a night! Stayed 2 nights. Check in was easy if a bit cold. Was provided a room on the ground floor, in a secluded corner. The room had a double and a single bed, decent TV, free wifi, clean bathroom with shower and good towels. Only issue was the damned rooster, which starts... More

We stayed at the Hotel Santa Ana, on our first trip to Merida recently. It is a small comfortable hotel in a quiet area, but walking distance to the city center and main historic areas. The hotel has a nice courtyard with a pool. You can get a fresh cooked breakfast in the morning. The staff we met were all friendly... More

This is a charming and relaxed hotel. It is excellent value for money. The rooms are basic and clean. The courtyard and reception area very pretty. The location is excellent. Close to the vibrant areas of Santiago and of course Santa Ana. While also being a quick walk to the beautiful paseo montejo. Most of all the charm of the... More

My girlfriend and I stayed here for 4 days while exploring Merida. The location was extremely convenient and it was far away from the louder areas of town that one could rest peacefully. Given the affordable, fair, price, I expected less, but found the facilities to be cute and very clean and the staff to be exceptionally kind and informative.... More

During our time in Mexico we stayed at a number of hotels and this was by far the worst place we visited. At first we considered to cancel our stay due to the very unpleasant receptionist at the Hotel. He clearly seemed very bothered when we entered the Hotel, and in the beginning he almost made us feel threatened. On... More

Well it definitly took some time to think through a response to such as poor review. First off I would like to sincerly apologize on behalf of myself and our staff. You will note from our other reviews that your sentiments are rarely if ever shared by others. As for us being the worst of the several hotels you stayed... More

I highly recommend this hotel. I wound up staying there to avoid what too many Americans share: Budgets busted and vacation dreams evaporated by medical / dental costs. So when my dentist said, "WITH your insurance, two crowns will be $1600 out of pocket and exhaust your benefits I thought, "There must be a better option." I'd read that medical... More
