great place: basic rooms that are clean and offer the option of paying for air conditining if your on a tight budget. no tv and no radios. the pool is small but makes for fast friends of other travelers. the hostesses are fantastic. they know the best place to buy hammocks and the shortest driving route to everywhere. in a... more

Casa Ana is a very new, charming Bed & Breakfast in the centre of Merida. It is run by two very hospitable and gracious ladies, Ana and Mariana who go to great lengths to make make your stay is a pleasant one. After years staying at the same downtown Merida location, this past December we wanted to try something new... another Merida hotel had told us about "Casa Ana", so we visited their website and exchanged a couple of emails with owners Mariana & Ana... We loved it!! Casa Ana is located within walking distance to Paseo Montejo... a healthy walk downtown... more
