¡Mira! As a B&B, this place is perfect. Close enough to town on Calle 52 y Calle 53, but not too far out - just enough to cut down on a lot of street noise. Walk to Santa Lucia park in just about three to five minutes, and to Parque Grande/Principal (the zocalo) in about seven minutes. There are plenty... More

We stayed here 4 nights in the Habanero room and were very happy with the quiet and welcoming atmosphere of this B&B. Every morning, Ana makes a different breakfast each, not huge, but very well prepared and artfully presented. The garden here is very special with lots of tropical plants and a small swimming pool (which we did not use).... More

Just returned from Merida. One of the highlights of this trip was this B & B. As women travellers, we felt safe and nurtured. Artistic and spiritual environment. Quiet courtyard with beautiful tropical plants. Good Breakfast. Extremely well kept. Will make this a regular stop on all future trips to Merida. Greal location in the historic district. Great value too.... More

We stayed for 3 nights in the Buganbilia room - which although a little basic, was spacious and clean. There was air con, a ceiling fan, and good mosquito netting on all the windows. As one of the guide books mentions - the internal walls to the bathroom don't reach the ceiling, so if you are very particular about privacy... More

We stayed at Casa Ana over new years, and I cannot recommend it more highly. The garden and pool area is a delightful oasis of green and peace in central Merida, the rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean, tastefully traditionally decorated, and the attention to detail in every aspect is superb. Ana is a lovely host, the breakfasts are delicious, it's... More

I just visited Merida a couple of weeks ago...as usual I went back to Casa Ana...have been there several times...love the place...clean, quiet, pleasant...Close to all important places...but peaceful enough to have a great vacation. Breakfasts are wonderful...fresh fruits and breads...juice, coffee and always a very tasty surprice from Ana"s kitchen...a great time to sit with other guest and make... More

Casa Ana was recommended to us by someone who had previously stayed there. We stayed at Casa Ana for one week. Our room was clean and comfortable. It was nice to arrive at our room and enjoy a quiet evening. There was hardly any noise from the street. We loved it. The patio was very tropical and charming. It was... More

Charming, friendly with a lovely little pool. The b&b is a just slightly off the main tourist areas, but in a quiet residential neighborhood. By foot all of the main attractions are really an easy walk. Anna is a great hostess and helpful. The breakfast is excellent. We travel frequently in Mexico and can say this is one of the... More

Things we loved: gay friendly, quiet, bilingual Spanish-English hosts, great tips on finding quality food at inexpensive restaurants, refreshingly cool small pool, super-clean, beautifully decorated, fresh breakfasts, the unobtrusive outdoor cat did not set off our allergies. Main square, groovy Santa Lucia and elegant Paseo de Montejo are all within a 15-minute walk in different directions. I left feeling we... More
