Best Hostel Ive ever been since I backpack (around 10 years). It is cheap and has perfect atmosphere. Rooms are big and very clean... and the swimming pool is wow! Great activities as well... and most of all perfect staff. Really. Best hostel Ive ever been. Owned by a venezuelan chavista. A plus if you like latin american politics and... More

If you are going to Merida you should choose this hostal. It is located at the center, few blocks from all that you will need and want to see. The service is fantastic, all the people there is always smiling! The place in general is clean, and the pool is awesome! Perfect for the really hot weather in Merida.

I don't understand how this hotel price is so low. It's wonderful for backpackers, young adults, and those looking to explore Merida. Located nearby the Centro Historico, Nomadas really offers a convenient walking location to key sites, buses, banks, and delicious restaurants. They offer cooking, dancing, and yoga classes for free. There is a pool, hammock area, fully stocked kitchen,... More

Nomadas is huge. It offers salsa, yoga, cooking classes...all of this is great, though I do think it prevents travelers from having these experiences in the city and with locals. Nomadas tends to be a world unto itself, with people sometimes staying there at the pool all day. Still, the facilities were nice and the staff was very flexible and... More

This place is great... I was supposed to spend 2 days I ended up being there for over a week.. they have a nice swimming pool that is perfect specially because Merida is super hot!!!!..lots of outside space to chill and relax alone or hang out with other people...hammocks....a good size kitchen for you to cook.. but the great factor... This place has decent rooms and a great pool, but you are not allowed to make a single noise past 10:55 pm. There is no common area that is available. If they don't want noise they should remove the s from hostel

It's an okay stay, would want to give it 3.5 star, but I can't. Price-quality is okay, you can't expect much for that price. But I've seen better hostels. But they usually didn't have breakfast. Breakfast is basic, but you get fresh fruit, next to toast and cereals. Rooms are very basic and very hot (stayed in a private bedroom)!... More

I have stayed there several times and watched it grow over the years. First class, with pool, conveniently located. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Will organize excursions. only a couple of blocks from the main plaza. Good WiFi. Breakfast and a community Kitchen. Meet fellow travelers, team up and compare notes. Love this place. Only a few blocks away from the center of Merida, Nomadas is a hidden oasis. The hostel complex is just the right size, the grounds are beautiful, the atmosphere is spectacular, the staff is very friendly! THE POOL is a lifesaver! Hammocks hover over the semi-Olympic sized swimming pool, a garden and neighboring courtyard wrap up the pool in one... More

One of the best hostels I've ever stayed in. Obviously the pool is absolutely amazing to have in the heat of the city - I went for a swim even before having breakfast:) Staff was really friendly and helpful with organising tours / explaining how to do it on your own. Lots of free activities on offer too. The dorm... More
