We stayed at nomadas for 2 nights in a double room with ensuite. The room was nice & had a safe in it. Only -ve was that we were next to the courtyard which was a bit noisy, however staff told people to be quiet after 11pm. The hostel had purified water, computers, lots of hammocks, a pool and free... We had a twin room with bathroom, (shower wasn't the best),at the back, upstairs. Thank god for the fans above the beds, it was so hot, but I had no problem sleeping with the fans on. We had no issue with the only beer & wine policy. Went to the supermarket & purchased wine & chilled it in the fridge.... More

I found the number of free activities on offer at this hostel really impressive for the price. Although I didn't participate in any (I came here to be lazy, and when you see the pool you'll know why I succeeded!), but they looked quite fun. Be warned - Mérida is stinking hot, making for a slightly uncomfortable nights sleep (air-con... More

The hostel itself is OK. The pool is nice and is the hostels main selling point in my opinion. The rooms are ridiculously hot and we paid for the top room, had fans above our beds, still hottest place yet. The rules are ridiculous- no spirits, no music - never during travelling have I been told I can only drink... More

Really cool hostel, pool with hammocks is amazing! Activities planned everyday, great location, nice staff. But the female dorm gets VERY hot at night (although I was there at an especially hot time of year). Each bunk has its own fan but not enough. There is AC on during the night, but they turn it off early so it was... More

The most amazing thing about this hostel: its awesome swimming pool. Seriously, it's the best hostel pool I've ever seen. And considering how hot the temperature can be in the Yucatan peninsula, this pool is a miracle. But there is much more to this hostel than its pool: free salsa lessons (a lot of fun, even for people like me... More

I stayed here just for 2 nights. The Hostel was very nice, staff friendly and helpful. We stayed in the women dorm, which was a bit boring, because the people were not too open minded at this time. The Beds were super comfortable and big (watch which one you choose, there are two sizes). The Breakfast was also very nice,... More

We stayed in this hostel for five nights. We had a private room with our own bathroom. The room was clean and ok, bed was not that good to sleep, though. We enjoyed a lot the free morning yoga classes and the pool area. It was just great! The breakfast is very simple, that is true, but you cannot really... More

We didn't even plan on going to Merìda, but we met some people who all recommended Nomadas - and that with good reason. We stayed there for a whole week, and had an amazing time. The staff is very helpful, the location is very convenient, the beds are good, you get free breakfast, the whole area is great (and very... More

We spent 4 nights at Nomadas in Merida and, although we enjoyed our stay, we were a little disappointed by the hostel. This hostel is very popular. There are a lot of free activities organised such as Yucatan cooking classes, yoga, salsa dancing, etc. The pool is very nice and a welcome refreshment from the Merida humidity! Kitchen area is...
