I was sure I came to heaven when I came here. Haha, after arriving from winter in Europe, but still! Awesome place with super friendly staff and guests. Got to know so many people here. Lovely outside area/ breakfast area, pool area and dorms. Be aware that they are strict about curfvews - but I only found this awesome as... More

Hostel feels like sleeping in army barracks, very little chance you will manage and get a decent sleep. The rooms are enormous and full of beds. They have a great swimming pool and that is the only decent thing of the hostel. The staff was generally rude and unhelpful and made very little effort to make us feel at ease.

Located just a few blocks from the historic/touristic center, it has large dorm rooms with lofty ceilings, a ceiling fan over every bunk bed and a fan for each one below. Nomadas definitely packs a lot of value for its price. The hostel tries to provide some form of entertainment every night of the week. They have a gentleman with... More

This hostel is really something special. The pool is huge and there are lots of places to relax in the sunshine. The room we stayed in was really spacious, finished in a modern clean poured concrete. We had a super clean bathroom, with a great shower, strong fans and a TV. Luxury compared to other hostels for the same price.... More

This hostel has a great chilled out atmosphere with the pool and hammocks around. The dorm room and ensuite bathroom I had were both extremely clean although they did get very hot and stuffy even with the fans on. I have to thank particularly Ariel a member of reception staff who was extremely helpful we went at past 10pm asking... More

A great hostel especially because of the pool and the hammocks in a very hot city. Decent breakfast included and very friendly staff. Free yoga and cooking classes etc. The hostel also offers tours and has a list of things to do on your own.

We stayed at nomadas for 2 nights in a double room with ensuite. The room was nice & had a safe in it. Only -ve was that we were next to the courtyard which was a bit noisy, however staff told people to be quiet after 11pm. The hostel had purified water, computers, lots of hammocks, a pool and free... We had a twin room with bathroom, (shower wasn't the best),at the back, upstairs. Thank god for the fans above the beds, it was so hot, but I had no problem sleeping with the fans on. We had no issue with the only beer & wine policy. Went to the supermarket & purchased wine & chilled it in the fridge.... More

I found the number of free activities on offer at this hostel really impressive for the price. Although I didn't participate in any (I came here to be lazy, and when you see the pool you'll know why I succeeded!), but they looked quite fun. Be warned - Mérida is stinking hot, making for a slightly uncomfortable nights sleep (air-con... More

The hostel itself is OK. The pool is nice and is the hostels main selling point in my opinion. The rooms are ridiculously hot and we paid for the top room, had fans above our beds, still hottest place yet. The rules are ridiculous- no spirits, no music - never during travelling have I been told I can only drink... More
