I didn't particularly enjoy my stay here. The dorm rooms are absolutely HUGE, it feels like a cattle farm if that makes sense. Just rows of metal bunk beds. Every thing seemed clean enough. It's a bit of a walk from town centre, but closer to other attractions. Also it is sometimes nice to be a bit away from the... More

I can definitely not reccoment to stay in this hostel. The cultural aspect of traveling gets totally lost if you stay here since the hostel is VERY Americanized. Some of the stuff members are nice,in other cases very inconsiderate and disrespectful. The price is with over 15 dollars way to high. The dorm rooms are way to big and private... More

I stayed in a private room at this hostel, no major complaints. It is in a great location, just a straight road to the zocalo, plenty of shops and restaurants there. My room was kept clean and tidied. Unfortunately didn't get time to use the pool but it looked nice. I did have an issue with the showers a couple... More

We stayed in a single room facing the courtyard with its own bathroom and ceiling fans. The staff is well informed and is willing to share it with guests. They have lots of travel recommendations and suggestions to help your visit. Lots of free activities happen on site; cooking class, salsa dancing, yoga and visiting troubadours (tip them). There is... More

Wonderful hostel, for meeting other travelers and lots of activities organised with informative staff, as well as english speaking. We stayed in the private double facing the courtyard. Breakfast is included and a fantastic kitchen where you can cook and have lunch and dinner, market is a stroll but excellent. There is yoga, salsa classes for free which is fun.... More

Me and my friend really enjoyed our time here! A really good hostel for meeting people, because of the organised activities! We took advantage of the free yoga class, which was amazing, small group, wonderfully peaceful and serene! And they cooking class and salsa class! Both really fun and great teachers! Definitely recommend staying here! Wonderful hostel!

Pros: Having a pool in a hostel is rare and especially at the price you pay. They have fantastic free lessons such as Mexican cooking lessons, yoga and salsa classes. I did the salsa class and the teacher was really fun and lively and took away any awkwardness of dancing with strangers. There are lockers in the room which are... More

Great hostel especially for solo travelers! Large and multiple social areas with hammocks and a lovely pool. It's easy to meet people but also to relax without being disturbed. It's not a party hostel but instead a social-hostel. The free salsa, yoga and cooking lessons are great and of really high quality! I thoroughly enjoyed the yoga sessions in the... More

Nomads is a good place to stay if you are in Merida, very close to the center. Great activities, salsa dancing, cooking lesson, yoga in the morning. Female dorm is good, nice and big with own bathroom. Nice outdoor area with a pool and hamocks. Breakfast is included, it's basic, bread, cereal and fruit, however it fills you up. I... More

Great facility's and clean rooms with comfy beds. Sadly the staff was a bit uneasy/ unfriendly. Partly because the strict rules. No drinking in the pool area, got told to keep or laughing down (really wasn't that loud) at 4 in the arrvo. No music during any time of the day. No visitors allowed to drop by and say hi... More
