The owners of this beautiful hacienda are a french couple that know design, but not hotel management! Our junior suite was the second largest, with double height ceiling adjecent to the onsite chapel. Nice, except that the bathroom was full of insects: the WC a nest of giant ants, spiders and a large centipede! We reported the issue and were... More

It felt like staying in our friends' converted farmhouse near Toulouse here. Old sprawling building. We were the only non-French guests. Our room was amazing, and they had made it perfect for my family: one room for us, another for our 3 kids in a bed each. Hot water was sporadic: there was a massive tub in our room which... More

We were in yucatan for a 10 days staying at the Starwood haciendas, they were great and the last night we stayed at hacienda Santa cruz it blew us a way, the people were great, food was fantastic and the room was frosty. If you want to have a base to see uxmal, trace cenotes and other place out side... More

We had a 2 night stay there on our yucatan tour. A small quiet place just minutes south of merida. The owner is also living there and always available for a small talk with the guets. We visited a couple of haciendas on our tour but this place was simply the the most romantic. Sometimes you need a bit patience... More

First at all many thanks for your comments. You absolutely right, all your staff, including manager and owner try to give a nice, quiet and friendly atmosphere at the Hacienda Santa Cruz. For the delay, let me apologize, sometimes take longer to brew a warm coffee. Hope to welcome you soon. Best regards, Yves AMSLER More

This is a beautiful hacienda just off the ring road of Merida. It's peaceful and quiet and as soon as we arrived the owner welcomed us as if we were old friends. The food is outstanding, the bedrooms are gorgeous (we stayed in the room next to the chapel). The swimming pool was stunning although we had forgotten that there... More

We - 2 adults/2 kids - spent 4 wonderful days at Hacienda Santa Cruz. A gem - hidden or not. Lovely and evocative setting, tastefully restored. Relaxing with all you would need - wonderful rooms, attractive pool, places to read, relax, play chess, have a margarita and (if you must) quietly check your email from back home. As close to... We went to the Hacienda to have lunch on Easter Sunday, during our holidays in Yucatan. The place is beautiful : a colonial hacienda, greatly restored with a limited number of rooms that are more like mini apartments (tthe owner showed us around), in a very nice environment. The food at the restaurant is excellent : mexican with an extra... More

We stayed three nights at the Hacienda this past February and found the property to be very lovely: the hacienda has been thoughtfully restored and there is interesting artwork everywhere. Our room was spacious and comfortable. We especially loved the restaurant and found chef Paul Ramirez's menu offerings to be both inventive and well prepared. The neighborhood is not paricularly... We stayed one night at the Hacienda on the last day of a week-long trip to Mexico. The property and decor are quite stunning.
