I agree with the previous reviews posted here regarding the elegance and style of this hotel. However, I don't recommend those who are looking for a quiet and peaceful place to rest. It's definitely the finest hotel in Merida. Every part of the hotel is beautifully decorated. The room is spacious and has a marble floor. It was first class. For that price, it's better to stay here than at the Hyatte. Note however that breakfast can be disappointing. more

I have been to Merida many times over the past twenty years. I've stayed at the Hyatt, Holiday Inn, The Fiesta and a few others. The Villa Mercedes is new, first class boutique hotel. I would recommend it any day over any other hotel I have stayed at in Merida. Rooms are nicely appointed. Hotel in general is first class.... more
