In short, nothing to write home about. The rooms are adequate but nothing to be excited about. Not what you would expect from an Intercontinental. The hotel is quite basic really. The slight inconvenience is that it is located quite far from the historical centre. It is a good 20/25 minute walk through some fairly dodgy areas, even though there... More

Hotel is located in the centre of the city, only minutes walk to the main street. we arrived at 9pm, check in was okey but there is no electricity in the city. We went downstairs and... More

This hotel in no way resembles its beautiful namesake in Cancun. It's a mediocre place with mediocre rooms and a few inconveniences. Daily towel replacement was an issue, as was the fact that that coffee was complimentary only on the first day. The room needed serious maintenance because of issues like a toilet flush handle that required manipulation. Small things... More

I stayed for two nights and was happy with the accommodations. I came with a tour group and they had all the keys laid out and ready to go which is so nice after a long day of sightseeing. The room was large and the wifi was free and fast. Breakfast was very nice. There's a great convenience store across... More

We stayed in Mérida for a week and rented a room with a King sized bed. The room also had a work desk and a pull out sofa. The location is excellent as we had access to the fabulous Paseo Montejo and we strolled up and down that boulevard every night after dinner. Restaurants and bars and shopping are all... More

Stay here once a year while attending conference in Merida. Feels almost like a boutique hotel. Comfortable rooms. Friendly service. Perhaps not to international Intercontinental standards but rates are also very low. Not very impressed by food in restaurant but many alternatives nearby.
