Hotel Hacienda Merida is the best option to stay if you are comingo to Yucatan; its location is perfect if you want to move easily in Merida. Very near from eveywhere, most if you want to go arond the downtown. The food is excellent, the service is high quality and the owners are very nice people. If you are looking... More

I stayed at this gorgeous hotel in December 2014. A friend of mine recommended it to me for my short one-day trip to Merida. Unfortunately, the purpose of my trip was business, so I couldn’t enjoy the peace, beauty and excellent service as much as I wanted, but I promise I’ll be back for a longer stay. It’s definitively worth... More

Location, Location. You can walk from here to most of the places you want to visit in Merida. It is between the main plaza and Montejo (the Champs Elysees of Merida). Above all is the staff: an owner who stops to chat at breakfast and offers good suggestions for exploring and has a lazy drain in your shower fixed by... More

Without trip advisor would not have thought of staying here as the front of the hotel is in a busy street and easily overlooked. Inside it is an oasis of tranquility with beautiful décor columns and pool . The hotel though is very centrally located. The rooms are very spacious and well decorated too. Service was exemplary and every detail... More

A few rooms offering unabashed luxury and excellent space in the centre of Merida. Great bed, good bathroom/shower. And for once the in room WiFi worked pretty consistently. They installed Nespresso machine during our stay, and that's a nice improvement on most high-end hotels in Mexico where in-room coffee is not the norm. The staff were uniformly helpful and pleasant.... More

We had 3 nights in this hotel in Merida. Stayed in the VIP section next door to the main hotel.. A beautiful setting and enormous rook with separate dressing room and bathroom. Breakfast served by the pool on nice tables for 2. Wi-fi worked pretty well in the room. The owner came and talked to us regularly which was lovely... More

This hotel was gorgeous. We booked next door at Hotel Hacienda and were upgraded to the suite of Hacienda VIP. It was a beautiful, tastefully decorated room and hotel. The tub in our suite was gigantic. We had a spacious balcony with a view of the pool. My only thought that wasn't 100% positive was that the hotel was almost... More

My husband and I were booked into the Hotel Hacienda Merida for a few nights in December 2013 but were upgraded to the Hotel Hacienda VIP due to a shortage of rooms. The hotel is quite new so lacks the traditional charm and character of older style hotels but is very well equipped and still a very nice hotel. The... More

This was one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed at. It felt very exclusive, and the service was exceptional. The breakfasts - totally delicious, pool was beautifully clean and the rooms were divine. We happened to meet the owners whilst we were there and they were lovely, interesting people that obviously took a lot of pride in the hotel.... More

Hacienda Merida VIP is a lovely hotel just off Merida's nicest shopping, sightseeing, and dining areas. The service is personal and friendly and the rooms are well-separated and quiet. It's like staying at your own home. We woke every morning to melodic bird songs -- a surprise in the heart of a large city.
