The Hacienda San Jose is located around 1.5 hrs away by car from Merida town. There is no access but a car. But who would ever stay this hotel apart from leisure. So it doesn't matter at all. This hacienda is a gorgeous and secluded small hotel. It's perfect for staying a couple days while visiting Merida and Izamal (don't miss Izamal!!!). Rooms are perfectly comfortable.
