We took an overnighter from Cancun. This is a great little hotel just six blocks from the heart of the city historical center. I thought parking would be a problem but the front desk came out front and pointed to the parking lot one-half block away, "next to the old Coca Cola sign." The parking lot lot is locked and... We are staying at friends a few blocks away. The WiFi is not working so I walked down the street to ask the Casa Continental if we could use their WiFi. Without hesitation they gave us permission and we are not even guests. We are in the lobby of a very clean small hotel near the Historical Center and the... More

We stayed here for nine days and were happy with our stay. This hotel is a very modern small bed and breakfast place. It has nine rooms. Room is very spacious and equipped with a good air conditioning, safe box, TV, hot/cold shower and phone. They changed a bed sheet very day and cleaned the room very well. Healthy and... More

Great small hotel.... One block away from Paseo Montejo and 6 blocks from downtown, continental breakfast included, not best but enough. Staff attention could be better and would be only issue with the hotel....

We had a very nice 3 day stay at the Hotel Casa Continental. The staff was so lovely, accommodating and helpful. The room we stayed in was very modern, comfortable, spacious and refreshing. All the amenities in the room were brand new and the hotel was superbly clean. The location was also in a great walking area to Paseo Montejo.... More

Totally modern yet sitting right on the border of Centro and Paseo Montejo it is hard to find better for ease of access and locatin to explore the city of Merida, north, south, east, west and centro. Add top service and staff more than helpful and this place is worth every penny.

This small hotel (only nine rooms) is only three years old. It is very modern with a European feel. Rooms are on the small side but they make very efficient use of the space. Good bath towels with hand towels and washcloths also provided. Nice sized shower with full glass enclosure. Helpful staff with good English skills. Basic but sufficient... More

The hotel is very well located, at the end of el paseo Montejo (the big avenue which pretends to copy Champs elysees :-)) in the direction of the center - so in 10 minutes on foot you are in the center and in one on El paseo. There is a free parking in the next street, ask at the hotel.... More

The hotel is at a very noisy street, you can not open the windows. The rooms are dark, no real daylight. They are modern but impersonal. It seems more like a business hotel. The area is ok, you have to walk 15 to 20 minutes to the city center. The sidewalk is very small. In the daytime, the streets are... More

The Casa Continental in Merida is a very nice hotel for the price. I stayed for six nights in December; the first night, however was not very restful due to the noise on the street below. My room was on the second floor and faced the street; while it would be nice to get some natural light in the room,... More
