Over the past 15 years I have stayed here 8 times as well as a few others in Merida and have found this hotel to be the best for the price. Conveniently located to the two main bus terminals in Merida. Get off your bus walk a short distance and you're there. Rooms are standard with 2 double beds, A/C,... More

I was staying athe the Akumal Beach Resort and evacuated due to the possibility of a hurricane, and this is where we ended up staying for two nights. My room was on the top floor right on the corner a single. It had no working light in the bathroom, I had to take the lid off the toliet tank and... More

Had to stay in the El Espanol hotel in Merida. It was across the street from the Bus Station, right on the corner of a busy street ( traffic light outside) with traffic most of the time. Noise, noise, noise. The hotel was 'tourist class' with friendly staff who didn't speak English. I was lucky my room had a window... More

My room was small, clean and on the corner of a busy intersection. However, it was high enought that the noise wasn't too bad. The front staff was very, very helpful with all my needs. I would recommend this hotel if you want easy access to the 2 bus stations which are across the street.
