I would agree with the other reviewers. This is a beautiful colonial hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The prices are a little higher for rooms with AC (but only by a few dollars), but since it is very hot in Merida (we were there in early September) I recommend AC (if you're there over the summer).
