As a 2 star hotel or 2 1/2 stars is fine (maybe even 3). For my taste, the rooms are quite outdated although a bit improved (painted, ..). However, if you are not too demanding in terms of aesthetics, it is acceptable to have a bathroom which has served several years and the noisy air conditioner, it is not a... More

We stayed three nights. Even if the main entrance didn't look very promising, this hotel is very nice and clean. Rooms are big and comfortable. It is well located in the city center and has free car parking. The towels provided for the bathroom were sometimes old and breakfast was just ok. Wifi was a bit weak in our room.... More

This is just another big city hotel. It's within walking distance of the central plaza and tends to be a little on the far side. The cheaper rooms are clean but very dated. The bed was good and it was quiet. The newer rooms looked alot nicer but they are too expensive for the value you get. The pool is... More

A very clean hotel, staff friendly, the owners are not friendly at less they have to they verily say hello. This hotel is about four blocks from the main square. The neighborhood is so so. We had a nice room with a balcony facing the pool with two nice rocking chairs,I know it is a budget hotel, but they need... More

We came to Merida for a weekend with friends, found this hotel on Expedia, our 6th hotel in two months, not a problem with reservations and all were as represented. Not much to look at from the street but lovely inside, all rooms surround the courtyard, we had a small balcony overlooking the pool area. Staff at reception and elsewhere... More

Spent 2-nights here. Stayed in a new room in back. Room was clean, AC worked well. Shower had hot water. WiFi worked fine. No street noise but quite a bit of noise from other rooms. Not possible to fully darken room so if you need a really dark room, bring eye shades. Breakfast was worthless. Location is near a bus... More

Great staff for a slightly ageing hotel. About 10 minutes walk from the Cathedral square, the hotel is basically the amalgamation of two houses that were converted into a hotel. It has seen better days (specifically our bathrooom was decent but starting to get on the older side) and the cleaning was flawed (my feet were black after walking around... More

I found that the staff were excellent, that the hotel was clean and fairly well managed. I found the breakfast a bit difficult to stomach after the second day, the coffee was absolutely awful. The pool was great, and again i really liked the staff, i will stay here again!

We enjoyed a five night stay in the new section of the hotel at the back where it was quiet at night. The room was clean was clean with two comfortable beds, the air conditioning worked well, there was a good selection of cable channels and good wifi access. We had booked the Dolores Alba because of the pool area... More

Great, clean, good wifi, lovely pool area, plenty of breakfast choice, spacious rooms, comfortable beds, good air con, good showers, quiet. Docking it one because we paid for a better room with terrace and pool views but they gave us the standard room until we realised after the first night. They could have dealt with it a bit better when... More
