Very well located, just across the street from three of the most expensive hotels in Merida, but certainly better priced. The breakifast buffet is outstanding, and service is very good. more
We stayed here for two nights while travelling around the peninsula. The hotel is pretty average but is central for seeing Merida and that is it's biggest plus. Our room was a bit smelly but convenient. The breakfast was good quality. The hotel's gym consists of one treadmill but the hotel pool is a good size and well used. I... more
Got a great rate (AAA), and found hotel was well-located and delivered real good value for the money... Food was surprisingly excellent (both breakfast buffet and outdoor dinner buffet in a garden right in front of the hotel. Service good-I made a habit of going downstairs in the evening to smoke a cigar (Cuban, of course), and the waiters in... more
I spent one week in Mérida with my husband and the hotel was a relaxing place after exploring the city and nearby maya sights. Our room was very nice and calming, beige colour and dark wood furniture. Staff was helpful and very nice. Lobby was also nicely decorated. Breakfast was a suprice for us, local mayan dishes and continental breakfast.... more

So, twelve years later, my two sisters and I decide to go back to the Holiday Inn...The food was just as excellent as I remembered from years ago and they still have... more
Thank goodness we only spent our last night in the Yucatan here. It was apparent that the cleaning staff had not vacuumed the rug between guests and although the front desk promised to rectify this,we saw nobody. There was an ironing board but no iron, a coffee machine but no coffee, the AC was too old and tired to work... more
We arrived at the Holiday Inn on 10/23/2005 for 3 nights. We were evacuees from the hurricaine Wilma. We got her to find the staff was WONDERFUL! Upon check in a man by the name of Enrique helped us to our room. He showed us around our room and left. He speeks very good english. The room was VERY clean.... more
