This boutique hotel just out of the centre of Merida is worth a go. Really nice rooms, well appointed with spa bath and Aircon. The food was lovely thanks to Chef Ramon. Merida us a large city and really deserves more time than we could give it. There is lots to see and do and the food is amazing. I... More

Everything thing about our stay was great...wonderful personal hospitality! High quality food and conversation. Great location for us to walk in the area. Everyone was so helpful...Rita & Jan helped us organize transportation. We really enjoyed talking with Chef Ramon and eating his breakfast's! Our favorite local, was little Gio their dog ;-)

Fantastic small hotel / guesthouse in the wonderful, arty and cosmopolitan city of Merida. Location is just a 10 minute walk to the main square but in the interesting locale of Santiago. The owners are incredibly helpful and welcoming. The chef is fantastic at every meal. Even breakfast comes with a dessert for the hungry. Nothing is too much trouble.... More

Guesthouses are definitely the best way to visit Yukatan in depth. This one is Owned by a very kind couple that takes a lot of time to explain you what there is to visit around the city. They make sure everyone feels at ease. The rooms and bathrooms are very spacious. Their chefs cooks outstanding Mexican speciality. Outdoor swimming pop... More

Like other visitors we loved this hotel. Jan ans Rita are wonderful hosts full of tips on visiting the area. The hotel is lovely. There are 6 rooms. We stayed in the first floor 2 bed room with a jacuzzi tub. Soap, linens, tub, etc all very nice. There's a refrigerator that is stocked with soda, beer and water daily.... More

We spent here 3 days with my family and som friends, and we had really a wonderful time since the first moment when we arrived! The owner, Ian a Dutch guy, was great to help us explaining all we can see and do in Merida and at same time offer us all the services provided by the small boutique hotel!... More

Once again Rita and Jan made our stay in Merida a genuine pleasure. And I have to mention the chef, Ramon, who seemingly never leaves and always serves up great food with a smile. With only six rooms, this place is very special both for the outstanding accommodations and the service. You won't be disappointed!

Huge thanks to Rita, Jan & Ramone for making our stay so comfortable. It's a close walk to all the action and restaurants from the hotel. There is also parking out front. The food was incredible! Everything was perfect and we would not hesitate to stay here again.

We stayed here for four nights (suite with spa bath) and loved it. Room: spacious, comfortable, beautiful and always fresh towels, cold drinks (for free) and nice soaps etc. Loved the spa tub and very comfortable beds. Nice view over the pool from our room. Wifi and aircondition was good. The hotel: a newly restaurated house, only sixs rooms, beautiful... More

Hotel Merida Santiago is hands down one of the best places to stay at when in Merida, and definitely make my top 10 hotels I have stayed at. Big props to Rita and Jan who run this hotel, their personal attention to each guest goes above and beyond what is expended from a 5 star hotel. The hotel does not... More
