Thoroughly enjoyed the contemporary aspects of this enchanting Colonial home in the center of Merida. The hosts are generous of spirit and amenities including the services of a personable chef for personalized meals beyond breakfast. Don't miss the courtesy happy hour to socialize with fellow travellers.

We spent 2 nights (13/14th July) at the Santiago. Jan and Rita are great - We were advised on what to see in the locality (Uxmal and the cenotes). Uxmal is far better than Chichen Itza in my opinion and I would have not gone except for Jan and Rita's advise. Rooms are great, bathrooms wonderful - never used the... More

Dear guest, thanks for writing all those great words for us. We are enlightened that you enjoyed our breakfast and the dinners. We select and prepare our dishes with care. The philosophy of the breakfast is that we serve a Yucatecan breakfast with an international touch. The breakfast is also changing every day. This makes it possible for our guests,... More

Absolutely amazing stay back in December 2013. Thank you Jan and Rita. We really enjoyed your hospitality and the fact that you were very accommodating even though I messed up the dates for the booking. I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. It's a lovely place to stay and enjoy the beautiful city of Merida from.

As a vegan, finding good food while travelling is always challenging but Ramon went out of his way to create the most beautiful dishes. The room was beautiful and comfortable, the pool is great after a full... More
