My wife and I just got back from 7 wonderful nights in Merida at the B & B Merida Santiago. Rita and Jan were great hosts and the breakfasts provided by their cook and housekeeper were delicious and always a perfect beginning to busy days. Rooms are spacious, the pool is great, parking our rental car on the street in... more

This B&B is a must. We picked it from the fabulous photos on their website as well as the reviews of other fellow travelers. The truth is that it was even better than we expected. We stayed for 5 days (wish it was a longer stay!). From the very beginning Jan and Rita (the owners and hosts) treated us like... more

I travelled to Merida to share in my Son's wedding as he married a wonderful local girl. I stayed at this B & B for two nights with members of my family. It was a piece of paradise. When the front door openned and I walked thru the door a sense of peace and calmness came over me. It was... more

In March, I took my family, visiting from Midland, Texas to Merida, Mexico. I found a gem of a B&B while searching for a special place for our stay. This B&B is new and completely renovated. At the time only 2 of the 4 suites were available. The suites are spacious and impeccable. The pool is awesome and deep enough... more

This was our first time in Mexico and we were absolutely thrilled with our accomodations and how very warm and helpful both Rita and Jan were! Not only did we receive excellent service but both Jan and Rita went above and beyond helping us understand the language and customs of the Mexican people. As we had never been to Merida... more

A total soul, relationship refresher - it was our 20th anniversary. As much privacy (or as little) as we wanted in an absolutely delightful B & B in the most relaxing city we have ever visited. Jan and Rita made us feel like family more than visitors. Best coffee ever, fresh fruit (you just cannot find mangos like that around... more

A wonderful B&B, so comfortable and welcoming. Everything was great ! We loved the house & the swimming pool, the area, but our favorite part was the owners : Rita, jan & Chico. We feel like we have 3 new friends ! We would definitely come back !! :) more

I was in Merida for only one day on business but wished I could have stayed longer at this B&B. Jan was a wonderful host, very welcoming, informative and helpful - he went out of his way to help me with a problem I was having with my laptop. My room was beautifully decorated and very clean. The pool was... more
